TWD iOS App still unusable - Am I the only one??

I wrote a forum post, I wrote a support email - no reaction!
How is that possible - the iOS TWD is completely broken when you start the game while being online. And even when I disable Wifi, how am I supposed to buy Episode 2? When I turn Wifi back on once I'm in the main menu the Episode 2 availabilty is never updated.
What's wrong with everyone at Telltale?
Too busy cashing in to fix an App that's been broken for weeks?
Am I really the only one who's bothered for being forced to use Flightmode in the first place?
I'm at a loss here.

    i had to start the app in flightmode but that isn't a issue anymore now i am able to just start the app and play (it takes a couple of seconds when connecting ) but he does connect.

    It just connected the first time on my iPad. It didn't work yesterday. I didn't change anything in my Wifi-settings. I don't know. Still would be better to have an update for the app with an actual time-out function in case the connection attempt takes too long.
