does anyone think people are hating on kenny without even giving him a fair chance?

Ugh. Kenny was a so-so person in episode 1, but after episode 2 and still in sequences in episode 3 he was still very hard to deal with. He used up all of his good will with me, to the point I feel sorry for his family; but not for him. Kenny is toxic.

He had his chances, I looked after his kid in ep1/2, the only place I didn't side with him was in the meat locker, and not only did he not help during the struggle at the barn but he just stood by at the pharmacy while Lee was pinned under the door.

Sucks what happened to him, but no sympathy. At this point I'm just waiting to see what happens.

I agree and disagree. like everyone said he is the character that everyone loves to hate because he is a d-bag but the way he acted before was based on one purpose: protecting his family. now that his family is tragically gone i say he has a major attitude and character change. i think he will help the group and lee anyway he can

I never hated Kenny, or even disliked him. I mean, yeah, he did something he shouldn't at the meat locker, but after that in Ep3 he doesn't seems to hate ya. And damn, after what happened to his family... He needed a friend. And since Lilly's just gone nuts, why not?

Is really cool when, at the Train, you can cool him down and avoid a fight. I guess people are just trying to stay firm with their belief, y' know? Proud and that stuff.

Of course there're cases and cases.

I actually like Kenny, he's the most relate-able character so far. You really kind get what he's going through and at least you're never confused about his goals. Although, after what happened to his family, I'm guessing he'll be a bit harder to predict.

I like Kenny. He's saved my life a couple times, and it's not like I've really saved his that often, so I understand his attitude sometimes.

Anyway. I got red in my ledger, so I let him slide as long as he doesn't act out of some petty motivation like shooting my girlfriend in the head because she called him a coward or something.

    ...

    Seriously, screw Lilly.

    That's Kenny's secret. He's always a coward.

every time I need him he hesitates or doesn't help at all, I'v been pro lilly so far and even tho she left I don't regret it

There have been some wonky dialogue choices for Kenny at critical times. That's my frustration with his character, when I wanted to do one thing with him I got a completely different response than I expected.

I think he's easily the most interesting of them to watch now since his family is gone. He has nothing to live for and nothing to lose...and ironically, the death of his family may turn him to some degree into Lilly.

Kenny was given a chance, many chances, and he was found wanting. Lilly was a good friend and even after she murdered Carley (another very good friend) our friendship was strong enough that I wanted to at least give her a chance to survive on her own if I could not go with her. I was glad she took the RV and has the same small chance of surviving to see tomorrow same as the rest of us.

What do we do now? Nothing has changed since ZA + 0 days....Stay on mission...survive, don't get bitten, aim for the head.
