Another S&M DVD Problem! Huzzah!

I am yet another person with issues getting my Sam & Max DVD to work. Mine is pretty simple -

I put the disc into my computer's DVD drive.
The auto-DVD player software on my computer comes up.
I close it (I did watch some stuff though, to show that my computer could read the DVD).
I go to My Computer.
I double click on the disc drive.
The Auto-Play screen comes up.
I click install.
My computer freezes.

This has happened multiple times. Any ideas what's going on/how to fix?

    Worst case, can you explore the disc and run the setup EXE manually?


    ps: what operating system are you running?

    Duh, just ran the Setup right from the Disc. Thanks for the help.
