Fan's Novelization of the Game

A friend recommended this story to me and when I read it I got hooked!

If you're a fan of the game you'll definitely like this. The story provides an in-depth perspective of each of the characters of the group and how they deal with the events that unfold throughout the course of the game. Character motivations and interactions are further fleshed out and matches the gritty and dark atmosphere of the game.

The story is called 'A New Day' and written by 1Summertime Sadness1. It takes place after the events of episode 2. You can find it here:

I'm not going to lie. This is good. It shows the mentality of the group while focusing on the events of the current episode. Even though everyone has different ideas on what the characters are dealing with, it's interesting to see how they come together in a fan-fic.

Cool, cool, spread the word :D

I really like how the author has pretty thorough understanding of the characters which is what drew me in. The game is fantastic but there's a lot to cram in only 5 episodes. The story provides a more detailed account of what happened and explores what occurred between episode 3 and 4.

It just feels authentic and can actually imagine the dialogue and actions in the story incorporated in the game

This is definitely worth reading. I can imagine all of that happening after Episode 2, although the writer chose a few different decisions to me (like siding with Lilly in the meat locker).

Nice! The author has a good feel for the characters and seems to have played the game similar to me.
