Fraps HELP

well hello i am new here and i wanted to ask you this one question, i have asked this question to a few other community but they all do not know how to solve it. so here it goes i bought fraps, installed it this is the new version 2.9.1 that works for vista because i have vista, now when i record in game the game freezes after like 10 secs of recording, but fraps just keeps recording the frozen screen??? i am lost and angry at the stupid program not working.

PLS help me

    Does your system meet the required specs needed?
    (You've probably heard it a lot, just need to check)
