my first play was with doug (i was still imagining i had a choice) so i let her stay, to me it didn't look like she was going to kill Ben, more taking her threatening interrogation to the next level, but when doug grabbed ben she panic fired
I was looking for the option to kill her but did not have this option: (. so I just left it on the road.
could have the option:
I do not think she deserved, but I surely would kill her for simply hate her forever!
Option 3 is the one that comes closest.
I let her back in. Leaving someone on the side of the road is pretty much a death sentence. And as I said to Danny St. John back on the farm,
"This is not how the world works now. You won't make me kill you."
A punishment, sure, but not abandoning someone to die. My Lee just isn't like that.
It did make it all the more painful when she steals the RV though.
She was a traumatized and distressed woman who snapped and made a terrible mistake.
Abandoning her in the hope the walkers get her seems a petty act of revenge, even somewhat hypocritical if you had a hand in the murder of her father thus causing her current fragile stage of mind. It's only been a week for god's sake. Unless you really hated your father how would the majority of people cope with such a traumatic event? The dangers and stresses they live in can only make the situation a thousand times worse and especially bad considering she's living with the man/men that were responsible for her loss. Finding out that someone in the group you've been trying to protect for months is betraying you must feel like a final stab to the heart.
People say that Lee deserves a chance at redemption for his murderous crime, why not give Lilly that chance?
Lastly I don't like the choices given. I didn't feel she back stabs my Lee. She isn't evil and knows she did something terrible and isn't in the best state of mind currently, so therefore she feels it's better for her to leave and find her own way in that hellish world and let Lee and Clem find theirs.

Let her back in. Because she realized that he had done something horrible and regretted it, but I guess there was no chance of things going back to the way they were after she tried to murder Ben and killed Doug in front of everyone =/
Sorry lilly fans for calling Lilly a bitch, but you have to admit it's very true!
Hey, no offense taken by this Lilly fan. Choice does matter and I can see how in your game things could have turned out differently with your Lilly.
I agree with what FarmerJoe said in post (#12) and I'm happy with my choice to do all that I could to help and support Lilly.
I only wish I could have gone with Lilly. Now, I'm stuck with Kenny and Ben and I can't decide who I hate more. Kenny who has an alarming habit of leaving me to die (he's done this twice now) or Ben the traitor.
Abandoning her in the hope the walkers get her seems a petty act of revenge, even somewhat hypocritical if you had a hand in the murder of her father thus causing her current fragile stage of mind.
She just murdered someone from your group, in cold blood, and you want to keep her near the kids?
People say that Lee deserves a chance at redemption for his murderous crime, why not give Lilly that chance?
I agree with you to some extent - but Lilly killed someone from your own team. She has lost her right to stay in the group that was supposed to protect each other, not screw each other up. Which is why I was gutted when Carley / Doug was murdered because they had my back and I had theirs. The number of times Lee saved the team member's asses has redeemed him to a large extent - the team accepted his past and didn't think much of it when he told them of his past.
Lilly killed someone who has been on the team since episode one. It's a different situation because Carley / Doug were innocent and did nothing wrong. Kaatja didn't want her. Kenny didn't want her. Clem freaked out. So for this, I left Lilly behind.
Wish I could leave Ben behind too though. Or throw him off the train. But Lee must have felt that there were too many deaths already.
Kenny killed Larry because he was going to turn. Larry was a real threat to their safety. I'm not saying that what he did was right, and yes, he was hypocritical because he wanted to keep Duck alive.
Still, Carley / Doug were innocent. They didn't deserve what happened to them.
She just murdered someone from your group, in cold blood, and you want to keep her near the kids?
Firstly I don't think of Lilly as a cold blooded murderer. It wasn't a predetermined act, dispassionate and without emotion or feeling. My Lee could see Lilly was suffering and wasn't her true self but sadly couldn't do anything to help ease her mind. I knew something would eventually break and sadly the damn burst in the most tragic way possible. You can see afterwards that she has shocked herself and the moment has passed, she wasn't about to start going on a rampage and kill everyone. Clem's guardian for the last three months is a murderer and, depending on your choices, may even be considered a serial killer who has killed in front of her. She's also seen an old man's head get crushed in front of her.
Tragically she has seen many horrible things already.
Say what you will about Lilly but I never saw any sign that she was a danger to the kids. There are scenes that show how she cared for and protected Clem.
You can see her smiling and taking her time to talk and help Clem with her painting at the end of episode 2. She protects her at the farm. She also gives Clem some of her hair bands. In my game I believed that Lilly would of given her life to save Clem. Lastly she doesn't believe Lee stole the supplies because she knows how much he cares for Clem, I saw and heard more example's of Lilly caring for Clem than I did from any of the others.
For me Lilly was no villian but another tragic victim of that terrible world. If the option had been to untie her and let her go or executing her, I wouldn't of hesitated and let her escape.
For me abondaning Lilly to the walkers in the hope of her death is a disservice to Carley/Doug's memory.

every villain is the victim of a terrible world, but it is them who make the choice to become the villain, if every murderer and criminal was let off if they had a hard life there wouldn't be anybody in prison

Where's the option to incarcerate Lilly? If it's a choice to try to help her or abandon her in the middle of the night to what could be her death sentence I choose the former. Why not bring her with you and dump her somewhere less dangerous.People's circumstances and the state of their mind are usually taken into account when passing judgement on them.
Lastly I don't agree that real world prisons would be empty if everyone who suffered a hard life were let free. There are plenty in prison who had decent or good life but are in there for a variety of reasons. Be it greed, envy, anger issues, getting involved with the wrong people and a variety of other issues.

yeah i guess to say they would be empty is an exaggeration, and i took her with me, but she chose to be a bad person and she can't blame the world.

Totally, man! Lilly was the closest person I had in the group and it was really sad to see her go. I do agree, however, that her leaving of me was the right thing to do. I cannot wait for The Road to Woodbury
Yes, she shot my bitch so she had to go. It's a shame too because I liked Lilly and wanted to help her get back on her feet mentally. Her murder was a lot different and colder than Kenny's which is why I can't forgive her action. I don't agree with Kenny's decision at all but there was an understandable motive.
Lily wasn't all that crazy--the only thing I found surprising about her snap was who the gun was pointed at and the fact she actually pulled the trigger.
It was a timebomb waiting to happen with her trying to play leader after Larry died, Larry was her motivation to keep going, without Larry there can't be a stable Lily, you lose Larry you lose lily, you get it? so logically you should blame Kenny for the loss of lily/darley, but its hard to do that with all hes lost now...I think its even, I took lily with me because she could have still been a asset under watch and she was just as surprised by what she did as we were.
Honestly the only thing Ben is guilty of is losing us all of our supplies, Lily/Kenny are guilty of everything else...Ben is a good, although incredibly naive kid, he did figure out that they were lieing about his friend being held captive though.
I saw Lily snapping the moment Larry started to die, its why I tried to resuscitate him, and if what people are saying is true and he did move his lips the moment the lick hit him I guess it was successful.
Yeah, that trailer had so many things that did not happen at all...
I meant the one they released a few days before, where we see Lee pinning Lilly against the RV after shooting Carley (which wasn't in the trailer). I assumed that she'd wave the gun around before our protagonist incapacitated her without anyone being hurt. What a fool I was.
at some point in the discussion, you could choose Lee to say "I did it"! Did anybody else notice that? That might have saved Carly.
No it doesn't, I chose that, Lilly flat out doesn't believe you.
As to the topic at hand, I left her at the side of the road. She's lucky she's in the comics too since it stopped telltale from giving me the option of blowing her brains across the side of the RV.
Oh man, that sucks. So i guess you really can't change how the story developes. Your choices will only change how people see you. Characters that have to die, will die!

Kill one of our group in front of the child I've decided to protect?
Get to walkin'

There's nothing more I can add to that!
I think there isn't any chance for her.

That's subjective.
Unless Lee helps with the CPR, he's pretty much dead IIRC.

Nice theory, sadly evidence to the contrary seems to exist.
She waits for Carley to turn her head, then calmly removes her weapon and executes her as she turns around.

*Talking to myself* "Oh, this is the part where she threatens us with the gun like I saw in the trail-"
*Blows Carley's head off*
*Me*
