the walking dead game crash on startup (MAC)

My game crashes on startup, I can hear the sound but not see any picture whatsoever. I may have closed the game wrong at some point, and since then it hasn't been working. I have tried to uninstall several times but without luck. i have even tried deleting files related to the game-files in hope of getting it working again.

Have any of you had this issue? And if so, are you able to help me out?

    I have the same problem as you! i have all the episodes installed but when i click play for episode 2 it turns black screen and crashes! can anyone help please im on mac! thanks!

    You can try if deleting your savegames helps. In order to do that, delete the prefs.prop and the .save files from this folder:
    ~/Library/Application Support/Telltale Games/TheWalkingDead/
    You might want to make a backup copy of the files before, in case it's something different.
