Happy endings?

edited September 2012 in The Walking Dead
All the Telltale games I have played have had a happy ending to them. But, as we all know (Carly fans definitely), happy is the opposite of what this game is about.

Preminissions on how you think this season will end? Happy? Sad? Make you have suicidal thoughts? Or is everything in season 5 just the start for Lee and Clem's road down to hell, leaving us at the end of chapter five with...

The End......?

Personally, I would like a bittersweet ending to season 1. Something like how the survivors are safe, but their group is falling apart. Kind of like the ending of Beside the Dying Fire from season 2 of the tv show.

Honestly at this point i would be happy if we see only Clem alive with or without her parents in the end.

I could see that, Season 2 continues with mystery voice man and her, but the mystery voice guy isn't a pedo

Monkey Island and a season of Sam and Max had unhappy endings. Then they pulled back at the last second. I'm pretty sure they've been prepared for this for a long time. I just hope there's multiple endings.

... unhappy endings. Then they pulled back at the last second.

In the Walking Dead, that would translate as Clem and Lee both die... turn... and suddenly realize that zombies, despite all appearances, are perpetually happy happy joy joy?

Let TT give us a different credit soundtrack opposed to the current one. It should be in mood with the ending of the 5th episode. That'll be alright for me.

Maybe they will have a ending that leads up to season 2. That way they can build up anticipation for the next round of ep's

Considering Sam and Max season 3 ended with
Max dieing followed by some weird time travel paradox which explains there are 2 Sams and 2 Max's and that the other Sam died, meaning that now we have just a depressed Sam and a depressed Max, who are join up out of memory of their fallen friends
, I don't see how exactly that game got a "happy ending".

It was a softened blow from the rest of that ending. It didn't end happy, just stopped being depressing.

The only happy ending the survivors will probably get is getting through another day alive. Someone here in another thread had a nice idea of doing a flashback of everyone we lost during their lives before the ZA. Carley doing a news story, Larry at his retirement party, etc. Something to keep it from getting too depressing.

dont you think showing a happy Larry with his friends and family would actually be very depressing, like a "look at all the happy experiences these people will never have again" part

You best stop believing in happy endings, Motordead.

[Insert picture of Captain Barbosa here.]

    There are none.

No but in all seriousness, I think that Clem will make it an Lee won't. As cheesy as it may be, I reckon they'll opt for Lee's redemption being him preparing this little girl as best as he could for the world she's going to be growing up in.

But then again, everyone might die. It's The Walking Dead.

I'd love to see the a scene at the end, like mentioned by zombiegoboom, about the members of the group who all died being happy before the apocalypse. It'd be very depressing, yes, but that's kind of why I want it.
