The 7th Guest and The 11th Hour, need help running them

edited September 2012 in General Chat
These are 2 games that really stand out from my childhood, and I would love to be able to play them now. The problem is I'm not sure if they'd work on a modern gaming comp. I have Windows 7 Prof. 64bit. Is there a way to make them work? I've found both of them on Amazon but won't buy unless there's a chance to make them run properly.

I ask here because I know a lot of you are into old school games and hopefully someone out there has experience with making these older games run on newer systems.

Sadly I've never messed with emulators, or anything at all that has to do with running games that wouldn't normally run, so any and all help would be appreciated. Thx

Buy it from GOG and save yourself the headache.

You can get the iOS version for half that price from iTunes and run it on your computer in ScummVM.

Just rename the 7th guest ipa file to zip, and unzip it to a directory. Now run ScummVM, click on add game, and navigate to the directory you installed it in. It will be detected as The 7th Guest (iOS/English). Now, just click on the game in the ScummVM GUI and click Start. :)
