Back when TWD was about to go live- they mentioned that in the game they would pick one person who pre-ordered would be brought into the group, killed horribly, than come back as a zombie.

Nah, Mark was too big of a character to be a pre-order winner. As stated by others, the pre-order winner will be in episode 4.
