"Fullscreen" is not resized

edited September 2012 in Game Support
I just reinstalled Windows and updated my drivers for everything, but now when I play Walking Dead, the display settings aren't working as before. Even though I have fullscreen selected as an option, the window is not rescaled as it was before, instead playing at whatever resolution size I set with everything around it cropped off with black borders. Before the reinstall, the game would resize everything to the size of my monitor no matter which resolution I chose. Is there a Steam setting I'm forgetting to check?

That's usually a graphics drivers setting. Look for something related to "scaling", or tell me what graphics card you have so i can help you locate the setting.

Here's some information on the different scaling settings.
Depending on your preferences choose "Aspect ratio" or "Full-screen".
You might also have to check "Override the scaling mode set by games and programs".

Strange but my NVidia center doesn't show that section, only "3D Settings" and "Video". I did some other searching and found that the onboard video card has some options that are closer to what I want. Thanks, though.
