Is it impossible to save your game or something?

I needed to go and take a break so I hit "esc" on the keyboard to pause the game. Then when I came back to the game I pressed "resume game"

It's taken me back to the start of the fricking game!?

I have been playing for like 3 hours and I'm really trying to be civil right now coz I'm really pissed off.

So what the hell is going on?

So can I PLEASE get an answer on this Telltale or moderators?I want to play it, I really do. But i'm not going to bother if I can't even save my progress!

    So I can work around it by using the rewind feature to restart at the beginning of "motor inn" in episode 1 with the damsell in distress. Which isn't bad because that's pretty much where I was up to. But if it's restarting the dam chapter everytime I hit "resume game" from the main menu, does that mean my game saves are corrupted?

    Where did you stop the game?

    I think it autosaves only at chapter breaks. You can never save midway through a chapter. And did you just hit escape or back out of the game fully? Hitting escape has never taken me that far out of the game.
