Wow, seriously?

I have three game saves, and whatever save I clicked it would go to my third save, in which I only got up to Episode 2. So I decided to delete Save 2 and 3 (I was just doing the opposite things I have done in other episodes), and I clicked on Save 1 and it says I haven't completed any of the episodes. I am gonna have to start back all the way from Episode 1. I am playing on Xbox and this, coupled with the fact that the achievements have glitched, has really pissed me off. Has anyone else had this problem? Have I completely lost my save?

    Exact same problem here.

    Had 3 saves. Save 1 is my save, 2 was my sister's playthrough and 3 was just one to fool around with. Downloaded Episode 4. Deleted Save 3 since I didn't need it anymore. Loaded up Save 1. Screen defaults to playing episode 1, when usually it scrolls to the latest one. So I manually scroll to 4, hit Play and I get the warning below:

    Actually it's made a new save called 'Game 3', with has started me up at Episode 1. My first save says 'Game 1' and 'Episode 3' next to it, and when I click on it, it takes me straight to the other save. This is really annoying, and I deleted my other two saves because of this. I really hope it gets fixed soon, as well as the achievement glitch. Telltale really need to get their act together.

    Oh right so it isn't just me. It sucks it happened to you too, I might just start another playthrough now, I just want to get to play Episode 4.

    This happened to me too. Messed around trying to fix it for a week.
    No positive results so I gave up. Started over, didn't even get back up to epi 3.

    It pissed me off, gotta play the whole damn game over again.

    ttg you guys should really fix how the game reads save files. Whatever this did is a pain in the ass.
    never had a problem with this on other ttg titles.

    I misread the post. I didn't delete nothing. Formatted computer, restored save files to proper folder. And it wont let me continue.

    Yeah Telltale made a huge cock up if it is happening to a load of people. I have just started a new playthrough. I have already done Episodes 1-3 three times already on three different saves, I am starting to get bored of it now. Guess I will be spending all evening trying to get to Episode 4 instead of actually being able to play it straight away.

    Edit: Yeah I think I am the only one who deleted my other saves. I still kept my proper save, but it still isn't working so I am starting all over again from Episode 1.

    I have the same problem.

    I only have one save, I went to continue the story but it took me straight back to episode 1.. I went into the main menu clicked on play and I see it's made a new save and now it just takes me to 'save 2' whenever I click on my original save

    I had to start all over again a few days ago and I just finished episode 3 this morning....

    christ, they still haven't fixed this issue? it's been a problem since episode 3

    Hey! I had this issue too, although I just went ahead and clicked "Yes" and on the "previously on TWD" screen, it seemed to have matched up all the choices I had made in that save. Whether it was a coincidence or not though, I don't know. Give it a shot!

    Yeah I tried it but it showed that I took Lilly with me, which I didn't do. I am about halfway through Episode 1 now. I don't really want to speed run it but I don't want this to take ages. I am hoping to at least start Episode 4 tonight at some point.

    I have the same problem, My main play-through was on my first save slot, my gf's on the second, and my third was my "kenny's bff" play-through... can only access my girlfriend's play-through.

    Deleted my third play-through, and copied the second save (gf's) to the third slot to free up the second... now i can only start a new game and have no way of accessing the first or third. Playing on xbox 360.

    Damn this really sucks. I hope it gets fixed for you guys, since I started a new game I think I am screwed anyway. I finishe Episode 1 though, 2 more to go. This has really ruined my excitement for Episode 4 and 5.

    So playing through episode 4, the game decided it couldn't save, and decided to delete ALL my saves. Again, like episode 2 did.

    The episode is now working for me.

    I deleted it and downloaded it again, if you try and download it again maybe it will work
