My actual reaction when I saw the title, I actually laughed for a good while in real life, remove the "you're poor" part. Being immune to the infection is impossible, at least in Kirkman's wlrld. Not EVEN a chance to this idea, it's bad, and you should feel bad. Lee is not surviving, he's just a time-bomb before he reanimates, or is shot dead.

he may not be imune to the infection but he may be imune to the bite disease
    and this aint comics

Well, the game is BASED on the comic, and taken as a CANNON. Therefore, your argument is invalid.

Lol its so funny seeing all these people who have no idea about the walking dead world, when a zombie bites you its over.

They are following kirkmans world they will not change this.

Lee did not act quickly enough oncethe bite happened (cutting his arm off to try and prevent infection)

Seriously how old are you posters coming up with all this silly (imune) ideas...
Face it his dead, season 2 will not have lee.

idc if lee dies or not but being bitten at ep 4 was a huge spoiler so i hope the outcome wont be clementine killing lee or he stays behind to save the group its just too predictable
in real world some rare people are imune to some kind of infection/diseases really you're living in what world?

This is noot set in the real world just give itt up man...

Maybe it won't end like that, maybe they will copy the dawn of the dead remake ending, lee gets clem to the boat says cya to whoever is left and watches them go.

That way all the people in denial can pretend because it doesn't show you him die his still alive out there... in some game world.

It actually IS. This IS the EXACT world from the comics. While Rick is doing his stuff, Lee is doing his. He is not immune. Sorry you want a happy ending in a game about death and despair.

Only an imbecile is in denial.

    LEE IS NOT IMMUNE!
It's a rediculous theory and simply wishful thinking to assume otherwise.

While I agree that Lee's time is almost up, and the developers decided to make it clear at the end of four rather than springing it up during five, if you had said to me that Omid survives four, I would have said no way.

So while the table is set for Lee to die in five, the challenge for the developers is to have Lee to survive and yet have it be consistent within The Walking Dead universe of Kirkman.

I'm just 15, and I know nearly everything about the walking dead, I knew about it before the series. Age doesn't matter, at all, I've met 12 year olds you'd be surprised how smart they are. I mean, our generation is in fact dumber than the earlier ones, but that doesn't mean we're all stupid. I don't want to change the topic, I just felt I had to mention it.

I don't really think Robert Kirkman would actually "allow" them to go with finding a cure or being immune to it...

Well to be fair... Kirkman started the series EXACTLY like 28 Days Later. So TWD has never really been too concerned when it comes to borrowing scenarios from other series hah.

Is there a policy on fake teeth still causing the transferance? I've only seen this used once in a Japanese movie, I think it Bio-Zombie but I can't remember. The guy was bit by an old woman with fake teeth and didn't turn. I doubt it, but it does allow for an out if this hasn't already been established.

No immunity in TWD universe. NONE.

My only idea was like that of a previous poster, that Lee wasn't actually bitten. I only saw a scratch which *could* have been anything.....at least until he opened his mouth and announced a bite.

My guess is they will have one pithy ending scenario to spare poor Clementine the truth (for all of you angelic Clem lovers) by letting her reunite with at least one living parent and walk away from Lee never knowing that he was bitten.

**Comic book spoilers** The governor's daughter/niece got its teeth pulled off, and the governor even got to kiss her in the mouth without getting infected, Im pretty sure the walker that bite Lee got actual teeth.

Walking Dead isn't the land of Deus Ex Machinas.

Tell that to the car at the end of E2.

    Lee will die. Period.
His death will be tragic, touching and heroic... while Kenny's won't be (at least in my game). That makes me happy :D

Well, that's hard to tell, right?
There could be thousands of people immune to the virus all around the world, we'd possibly just never know, due to the fact that we'd simply never meet them and that they had to be dead to discover their immunity.
Also, this is not about the zombie virus thingy but the bite sickness, which seems to be more like some kind of poison or disease cocktail.

I do, however, hope that Lee isn't immune to anything. This just isn't a superhero story.
  • edited October 2012
Yeah this isnt Dead Rising and Lee isnt Frank West. Zombie bites actually mean something here.

If only Lee had covered wars.......

Kenny's my best friend. I brought him along simply so he could get killed along with me. When I say friends to the end I fucking MEAN it.

I think the idea of Lee got bitten is brilliant. Probably in the next episode we will see how Lee (we are) becoming zombie and someone will shoot him head maybe Clemantine. At this point we will cry like Hell together with Clem.
In the next season we could continue being Clem or someone else from the team or whoever...

Lee might start having hallucinations as the virus sets in, and they get worse as the episode goes on. He's seen a lot of messed up shit, and I'd like to see it take his toll on him in his final hours in the form of people he failed to save. Like maybe seeing Doug/Carley based on who Lilly killed, or Ben if you dropped him at the tower.

Lee is dead as a brick no way around that without messing up kirmans lifelong work /thread
