Mabye Lee, Wasn't Bitten?

edited October 2012 in The Walking Dead
We have seen more than enough bite marks in not only in TWDG, but TWGS/C to see that it want really a bad bite/ not a bite at all.

Lee was by pavment, and sometimes those scrapes/cuts from them can hurt, AND appear very LITE-Bite looking.

I doubt Lee will make it to Season 2, but Tell Tale, can you please give us this. Nothing has gone our way at all yet.

But this IS the Walking Dead.....

Nope, he was bitten. If you look closely, you can even see the walker biting him in the exact spot.

I'm pretty disappointed about this. I wanted Lee to be in season 2

Guys i dont think Lee would say "no no ohh no" if he couldn't feel any pain???
try to bite a hole in you arm?? i'll be sure you can feel pain...
  • edited October 2012
Bite marks, he flinched in pain and Lee's totally screwed as he didn't chop that arm off.

I thought this too, this is the only time I rewound. So much for my no rewinds playthrough. If you check the board first, it looks like it could be a scrape from the wood, however if you choose the walkie-talkie first , it is clearer, and def a bite from the walker.

The art style of TWD is deliberately simplistic so you were never going to see it in great detail. I think the way it happened, Lee's immediate reaction and the behaviour of the other characters when they saw it themselves pretty much confirms it was a bite.

CARLEY WASN'T SHOT OMG LET IT GO UR WRONG

(Someone please draw a chart explaining why Lee isn't bitten.)

    Me too

    ME 3

To bad our Lee not like Rick

get shot ....get bitten ..lose limbs and still kicking it :)

Also you hear a pretty juicy chomping sound as it happens.
    SO it pretty much confirms

    LEE was DEFINITELY BITTEN
    and no.
    HE IS NOT IMMUNE!

clem's hat was bloody. That was lee's blood. so he was bitten
  • edited October 2012
It doesn't matter how deep the bite is. As soon as teeth pierce flesh, you're done for.

He was bitten. And he will die. He knows, everyone knows. Obviously the Series ends with a dead Lee. Why would he say he was bitten if he wasn't? Besides, even scratches are fatal.

Tbh I expected Lee to die at the end of the series anyways so it didn't bother me.

The game proposes you to "hide the bite"... Why would you want that to be a scratch? Desillusion?
  • edited October 2012
Well, one thing we're forgetting, we aren't clear on how the infection spreads. The TV show has definitely stated it's airborne, so everyone is going to come back when they die. I don't recall if the game has gone that way, and I can't recall if the books have mentioned a cause (I've missed a few episodes). We just assume it's the bite. It may be possible that Lee survives.

Lee is a goner. From the time it took to get from the manor to the fallout shelter, that's enough time for the infection to spread, especially without amputation.

I think Lee just has Clem's safety in mind now. He knows he's a lost cause but wants to make sure both her and the group (if applicable) are safe.

God damn it, Lee Everett. I miss you already. :(

This has also been established. In episode 2 IIRC.
In episode 3, it's established that the bite kills.
So those are explanations right there.
Excluding the exposition about the disease in the comics.
Which the game is so decisively based.

He was bit, it's very obvious. You can even hear the zombie saying "My god, you taste delicious!"

I'm pretty sure that blood was from lee killing the zombie, I could be wrong though.
