Bite of Scratch?

If you pay attention when the walker lunges at him, you hear that squishy sound that you hear when walkers get killed. And this is before Lee kills it. Plus, if you investigate the trash cans instead of picking up the radio for a split second you can see a bit of blood fly. I knew it right then, seeing the blood, that Lee had been bitten.

I don't know. Is this like in the Hurt Locker? Whenever you see a well-known actor he will die within 5 minutes - just to be different?

It would be kinda novel to kill off the main protagonist, but how much fun is it? Do I want a season 2 with a new main character?

It's as if that Stormtrooper had said: "Wait a minute, these are the droids we are looking for! Arrest them." The Empire wins. Star Wars saga is over early. Let's hope for Battleship Galactica.

What if the bite is simply a plant to throw Lee off? I know it's a longshot, but who knows who could have been around while Lee was passed out in the study. My point is that the bite just doesn't look believable. I'm still skeptical on it's legitimacy, he could have had it the moment he woke up before going to the back yard..

Except you can see his wrist when he's walking outside, and there's no bite.

Even if there were a plant, that would be a really stupid idea. Make a cut in Lee's wrist, hope he doesn't see it (or, you know, wake up while you're cutting his wrist) until a zombie attacks him, and hope a zombie attacks him in a way that makes it look like he was bitten on the wrist?

The thing is though is that Star Wars had a set ending, Luke saving the day. Walking Dead season 1's set ending so far seems to be Lee dieing. We have no clue what will happen in season 2 or who the main protagonist is. As for "fun" in a video game, I think this sums it up better than I can. http://penny-arcade.com/patv/episode/beyond-fun

This game is emo as fuck. I'm contemplating whether or not I should even play the ending or just watch a let's play on it.

How the heck is it emo? It's depressing yes(and if you didn't think it would be, then you are an idiot, sorry, but it's true), but emo?

Implying the game hasn't already been sad.

Or that this is from a happy series in the first place.

It is a little too melodramatic at times, and then again sometimes not. People don't seem to be too phased about Lee's bite.

I think the last episode at least was better than the comics. Not everyone is an asshole or a drama queen or some egomanic in the game. The comic books are full of people that like to jump at each other's throats.

In the game there are a lot more people with common sense and some idea of a group being about others rather than oneself.

Well i wouldn't consider it completely sad if Clem and Lee somehow made it out alive. It is and will be sad i guess.

I moved the boxes first and I didn't see him get bitten. I guess I will have to do it again...I thought it was scratches when I saw it. I know either one is bad but I was sorta hoping for scratches that didn't really HAVE to equal Lee's death. I kinda like him.

thats why i know they won't kill Lee. Its the same reason they won't kill Rick

No point in dragging a character through all that crap just to kill him off. then its just pointless.

Robert Kirkman, the creator of the comic series, has said himself, that even Rick is not safe in a zombie apocalypse. While although currently the main character, he is still subject to death, and Kirkman said the story would go on.

i think it would be really cool if it was a dream and he sees some of the cast like clem viewing a family member in prison and on his way to prison he sees kenny and kat in a car besides him a duck playing in the back seat. then lee realizes it was just a dream. in all do respect to all the episodes i think it would a pretty cool ending

Ya I don't see the point of having a new protagonist. Just would be a hit or miss. And if every season they just kill everyone off what's the point?

Agreed cause in the Comics Rick has been shot..been bitten...chop of his arm. His son Shot and lost half his skull with a bullet.

They still up and running around like they Rambo lol

"Come and see me after class, I wanna have a word with you", Lee replies in a gentle and warm manner.
