As much as we love molly, most people want a new character one we know nothing about so we can flesh out there personality. I want a new character and maybe at the end clem meets this new guy and he takes her under his wing and all we taught clem via save files determines he personality.
I read a suggestion that a new group saves Clem. I'd say that would be satisfying enough, to give a couple of options for characters that way they don't have to settle with anyone just yet. Then by season 2 they can choose one, several, or add new people to the new group.
In my perfect world, both Lee and Clementine will somehow survive until the conclusion, Season 2 will feature a new protagonist and team who eventually run into L & C, and we get to be reunited with our old friends.

Maybe clem because they told us t keep our saves so we'll import them in season 2 and clem will be just like you raised her
This is just an idea I've had after reading through these comments (don't hate, but criticise me if you wan't):
You play someone (preferably a male) who meets Clementine's parents, from the beginning of the outbreak.
Then, as a last wish, her parents asks you to promise them to find her daughter and keep her safe. Your goal is to do so, and then you meet Clementine after Lee's death with maybe a few survivors (maybe Kenny and Omid/Christa).
And then it's just up to TTG to craft the rest of the story
I hope it's a new character, all the ones we have already are too well defined in how they act now anyway. I don't see why Lee's wife couldn't be an option though...
Here is an interesting idea. A new main character, a new group and a new city in another part of the US? It doesnt have to be Atlanta, you know...
Doesn't the whole TWD franchise pretty much revolve around what's happening in Georgia? Something tells me that Season 2 might bring us right back to Atlanta.

Nah, they are actually in D.C. right now. Or what's left of it.
I think Molly will be the new protagonist for season 2.
For one thing, the next season will most likely not be a completely new cast and location. It would be too much trouble bringing you up to speed on a new group or even a single person after so much time has passed since the beginning of the outbreak, and starting over from the beginning would be a bit redundant.
Also, why make Christa pregnant? I doubt it's going to be a big part of episode 5. I think it means we will see her in season 2 as well.
Molly's personality really hasn't been fleshed out all that much from episode 4. We know that she's a good person you could depend on, she can fend for herself obviously, and she had a sister who died. It doesn't give us much more than that. After Lee dies, I'm pretty sure she will join the group anyways if only to look out for Clementine, to protect her like she couldn't protect her sister in the end.
They've really gone out of their way to show that she can handle herself better than Lee, and given her a connection to Clementine. On top of that, even if you try to kill her off in episode 4, apparently the best you can get is 'fate unknown'.
If she takes over in Season 2, it wouldn't be that much different from Lee. Throughout this whole thing, Lee's main concern was Clementine and I don't see that changing with Molly. It really seems to fit.
I don't see any real variables there. Even if you try to kill her in episode 4, the most you can expect is to have her final date unknown. She isn't with your group at the end of the episode regardless which means she's being saved for something. If she has a chance to live or die in the last episode then that would definitely mean she couldn't be the aim character, but so far she hasn't been killed, plus they go through the trouble of showing she isn't a pushover like everyone else so far. It might be wishful thinking on my part, but the pieces seem to fit. I really can't wait for episode 5 to see if anything is revealed, even if it's not her.

Exactly!
I think, Telltale should try to do something entirely different. I think they should go for it, and create something new inside the TWD Universe.
I don´t know, maybe California?

she dead without here insulin
I doubt she alive because i think molly wouldn't have stayed with you all that time if she was alive
Anythings possible. We might just play as clems new protector which could be in an entire new group just clem as a returning character
Both dead.
well we dont know about that preggo chick
And about the sister either, i know she's diabetic :P but Molly being doing "sightseeing" and I thibk she didn't came across her sister...
I wouldn't say most people
There not gonna give us a person that's already has an established personality some one new would be preferable
Might get some more backstory on her and Lee too.

I believe the character TTG was excited to show was Brie, the contest winner whose likeness was put into the game.
I think the new protagonist will be someone new who possibly meets up with survivors from season 1, if any.
Molly Croft?
sounds like Lara Croft from Tomb Raider
That's the joke.
That totally makes sense now! LOL

Oh, okay. That I did not know.
