So... would you have liked to stay in Crawford?

I mean before everyone turned into walkers? Cause i sure as hell wouldn't.

I would have set up outside of crawford and gathered up the children they sent out before the zombies took care of them.

Atleast until they all died, and I did too, seeing as I probably wouldn't survive long in that city.

No way. I might have stuck around at the beginning and siphoned supplies but I wouldn't have stayed after the first wave of rules came out.

I'd take the children and their parents off and form an mobile Little Lamplight [with parents]. Without the age kickout rule. They could establish that themselves if they want. I'd end up getting killed eventually though because i'm not in shape.

If I had been pretty much on my own up to that point, probably. I'd be looking for a place where I could atleast let my guard down from walkers. Despite the draconian rules it'd be quite a tempting place to stay, atleast for a while.

I would stay at first, then as the rules came up I'd prepare to leave.
Gather what I could and just get the hell out.

Who wouldn't stay at first? Most of us would probably leave once the first wave of rules came up though, if not the second. I'd get what I could and strike out for somewhere better, preferably anywhere not in the city.

I would have been Crawford's leader, and setting up the rules.

So, yes, I would have stayed in Crawford.

haha lol. All hail our future leader!

Just me who wonders how there could be "heavier" (clearly overweight) zombies in Crawford? How could they contribute to their society?

In times of crisis, absolute leadership is not always a disadvantage, ruling out people however is. Elderly and sick can easily be watched and dealt with if/when need arises. Children are necessary for the continuation of humanity for some odd reason...

The only reason to why I wouldn't stay in Crawford however is because it is in a urban area, long term I don't belive in surviving in cities/densly populated areas. "Society" as I see it would have to regress to feudalism or hunter/gatherer.

A few mates of mine were joking over that we would head for a castle/fortress with drawbridge for when the ZA strikes. First to the throne gets to be king :D.

Yeah, but only if I could be the leader and it would the opposite of Crawford. Bring on the women and children but no men. only men that are allowed are the old and sick ones. But bring in the women.

Might as well die happy, no?

Realistically speaking, no, but if I lived long enough in such a twisted world, who really knows how long my morals would remain intact. Game wise, I would like more to be shown of that place, especially with regards to the story, since I think it has yet to be tapped to it's full potential. We only explored the school and sections around it. There's a whole district just waiting to be explored and I would love the chance to go after this voice guy throughout the rest of it. I would really want that "siege" that was teased in this chapter to really happen in Episode 5.

I am doing what is best for the future of humanity. Children are our future.

I would have stayed, you know, earn everyone's trust, introducing myself as a strong potential survivor, and slowly become this sort or Second-leader. After a few weeks, I would just grab a backpack and quickly steal all of their supplies, when I finish gathering all of the supplies, I'd just set random traps all over Crawford, starting a fire or something like that, perhaps remove part of their barricade and let those sons of a bitch die ^_^

If I was on my own, I would probably join Crawford at least for a few days. I won't get involved in any of the evil crap but just earn my rations. Then through the weeks I would rise in the ranks and gain respect. I would single out those who were there for the protection and weren't evil and gain there trust. Then I would lead a coup in Crawford and take control, opening our doors to all survivors.

    What could go wrong? :P

Well, Oberson finding out and having everyone else shoot you and your supporters. But, if I'm there you could sign me up! Let's lynch that dictator!

Viva la Revolution! Molotov cocktails and stones for all!

I got the impression in ep 4 that loads of people in Crawford just wanted somewhere safe. The pregnant girl, Molly, even the doctor all seemed pretty sane and not downright evil. Such a shame the guy at the top was mental.

It really is a shame that everyone at Crawford died. Oberson and all of his officers, and henchmen at the top all deserved to die but I'm certain that most of the people just wanted to be safe from the walkers. I don't even think that the Governor was as big of an asshole as Oberson.

Oh, The walking dead season 2 "Rise of Oberson"

Oberson is crazy though a place with no children, no future plans.

Crawford is the perfect example as to what happens when you strip human beings of their basic needs...

They sorted out the weak, supplied food, but banned the second most import thing for any animal... reproduction... it just had to fail.

Maybe they were dumb enough to think we reproduced asexually just like cells. Having children at least gives you hope a new society is growing, but killing all the children is just plain nonsense.

And it would have every woman go mad who's pregnant and every father to be. Every time! ;)

The thing happening in Crawford was facism in a very dull witted way.

I'm sure you'd be in shape within the first few months if you made it. You would have been ok.

I myself wouldn't have stayed in Crawford, their rules were dumb and go against survival. I could see some benefit (although morbid and not my style) to get rid of the terminally ill, but to get rid of children too? At some point you need to replenish yourself with new protectors...would all of Crawford shoot themselves in their later years when they got older? What about when someone got sick (even the flu), when do you start murdering people to feel safe in that society?

I'm not positive that all of Crawford is dead. It didn't happen as a sudden overrunning based on the red x's on the doors of the schools. I think there was time for a group to pack up the armory and gtfo of town and let the majority die.

I agree with you, I don't think they all go killed. I think radio guy is a Crawford survivor.
