[SPOILER] So who was it that emptied...

...The armory? As far as we can tell, Crawford most of have been almost entirely wiped out especially when considering the fact that that many zombies, it's unlikely anyone just walked out. And, considering Vernon was in the sewers and Molly was outside (and likely not the only "loan warrior" around), SOMEONE would've noticed a mass exodus from Crawford.

So, seriously, where did the guns go? Did Vernon and his group maybe get in earlier and take them for themselves? Cause it seems weird to me that they'd just be gone.

    The guns were used most likely to fight the walkers that had turned from their dead.

    Small piece of evidence, the shotgun found at the bottom of the stairs.

    No one found out because everyone wanted to avoid Crawford. As seen when Molly attacked Lee and Kenny, also when Lee found Vernon they are afraid of being found.

    Most likely only a handful of people lived, I believe even less. They must have thought they were the only ones alive in the city and kept quiet.

    Also there were spent shotgun shells in the corridor at Crawford, so I agree with what was said earlier, they tried to fight off the walkers before being overrun so they used up most of their ammo by that point.

    Also a few of them would have loaded up and ran, I'm sure the walkie talkie guy will be a survivor who escaped from Crawford.

    Potentially but the shotgun shells really only point to that one guard IN the armory holding the shotgun. I mean if they were just being used, wouldn't we logically see them lying about later? Theoretically if no one's been in crawford (and they clearly haven't given the mass amounts of fuel and such they found) since they got overrun, why would we then basically be told "Oh but the armory, which was found LOCKED, was picked clean"?

    Well, maybe the armory dead guy was covering their escape fighting off walkers while others climbed the ladder to get out. Remember the downstairs part of armory was unlocked the walkers came upstairs from what looked like a door that led out of that room, so the people of Crawford had more than one way of getting in there.

    Maybe they started turning against each other too. How was that guard/guy in the armoury killed? I didn't really see, is it shown?

    Yeah, that guard wasn't or hadn't been a walker I think, but he had been dead a while. I agree that with a place like Crawford there would be a high chance of a power struggle and them turning on each other.

    Also no they did not show how he died, just that he was there.

    Well, I think it's pretty safe to say that they didn't get overrun all at once. Remember all those doors with red x's over them inside the school? I think those weapons were used by the people fighting those walkers and probably taken with them to their homes. The guards wouldn't want to lock up the weapons again if they knew there was a walker threat. If some of them escaped the weapons were more than likely rounded up.
