No "Next Time on The Walking Dead"?

edited October 2012 in The Walking Dead
I was just wondering, was anyone else a lil put down on there being no "Next time on The Walking Dead"?

I mean, it'd probably spoil a lil bit of the mystery, but it doesn't really sit well with me...

Any thoughts?

I loved the fact that they didn't include one. At this point, every little snippet would be a huge spoiler. Every other chapter gave an indication of where the group would be so a trailer didn't really spoil anything, but now there is no indication what the group will do or go so a trailer could potentially ruin a lot of that.

This is essentially the final two-three hours of a video game and it's going to be a crazy and emotional ride, the cultivation of everything throughout the season. I want no clue what is going to happen next when I start the final episode so every second will be a shock. I hope they don't even bother releasing screenshots and anything else aside from the episode itself.

I was glad there wasnt a preview. Want everything to be new and have the intended impact when I see it for the first time. (I left the room for all the other previews except the one for Episode 3 and then I was bummed I watched it!)

I was a little disappointed. But then I suppose it's just as well since none of the scenes from the previous preview trailers made it into the game anyway.

They did it to keep what happen to Lee in the dark and also whats going to happen in the last episode.

No need for spoilers to that.

I actually jumped when instead of the 'Next Time' screen there was just that drum noise and the stats screen popped up.

I'm so glad they haven't made a preview though. At this point in the season any teasers are just salt in the wound.

I mute the previews and do something else every time anyway. I don't want to even have an inkling of what could happen. I want to be surprised.

Exactly. Didn't help that they weren't skippable. Fucking moronic.

I was glad to not have a preview. I turned off the previous episodes when they went to "Next time ...", which means that I missed out on the stats after the game. I'm not a fan of spoilers or teasers. If I've already decided to play the next episode, what's the point of spoiling it?

I didn't think to mute the previews. That's a great idea. I'm undecided if TWD was good enough that I want to play another second season, but if I go for it, I'm keeping that trick in mind.

Well I`m a spoilery type of guy, if I don`t finish the episode in one sitting I go to the forums and try to find out what happens next.

Guess I`m different that way :p

    Likewise. n_n

Hopefully Season 2 will include skippable 'next times'.

/suggests it to the Telltale question area

I liked the previews.:( Though I agree they should be skippable.

I felt like the preview would give too much away for the final episode. They gave us a cliffhanger instead.

Apart from spoilers, it would probably take some time to prepare a trailer - they would have to model some locations from episode 5, record lines, etc. The lack of a trailer may be one of the reasons why episode 4 was released quicker than usual.
