Why do we need animals? Unless we are hunting them and carrying squirrel satchels like Daryl Dixon, although I'm pretty sure there's "no time left" for that in Episode 5 (see what I did there?")

I am just wandering why the dead dog didn't turn and kill us in episode 4

    Maybe animals are immune...

    Does this mean...

The Apes caused the infection to get rid of humanity and allow the planet of the apes to rise...

the dogs brain was clearly destroyed before the apocolypse. The theories on zombie doggies get to stay!

I would love to see some more animals on The Walking Dead. It would make it more interesting.

For the most part, animals and zombie movies often end up like something that looks like Chinese food

(I WENT THERE TOO EDGY 4 U OLOLOL)

Having said that, Chips the dog from Dawn of the dead is the only living thing that makes it.

We've had a squirrel, a cow, and a crow as background animals. What do you want, a rideable elephant?

Animals cant turn, as stated by kirkman. So it goes to show we should see more animals. You could explain that away though by saying the geeks like to eat them too.
