Ep 4 Spoilers - The Five Stages Of Grief
So, it finally happened. Our lovable protagonist has been bit and is entering the final chapter of his life, and you don't know how to handle it. Fear not! This handy guide will give you all the information you need on how handle the grieving process and come to terms with our hero's inevitable demise!
Step 1 - Denial:
Promptly grab hold of your monitor and scream profusely. The louder the better. Throw in some swear words too! The more the better! I recommend a good regimen of "NONNONONON OMFG NO!!! THIS IS NOT HAPPENING!" "NOWAYTHISSIREAL!". I also recommend using the rewind feature repeatedly to attempt different outcomes! Try and waste a good hour or 2 on this alone!
Step 2 - Anger:
Immediately access your forum account and spam repeated threads titled F@$&! YOU TELLTALE!, I AM GOING TO BURN THEIR STUDIO DOWN! and THIS IS THE WORST PIECE OF WRITING I HAVE EVER SEEN! The more rage the better. Be irrational whenever possible! Use caps on every post you make to really get your anger across. Immediately reply to any post with any sign of positivity with cuss-words, flaming and venom.
Step 3 - Bargaining:
Time to get those online petitions going! Inform Telltale exactly how to do their job! We all know how well the Bring Carley Back petitions worked so lets do it again! I recommend sending them the following suggestions:
Lee is immune!
Those are just scratches!
The walker bit his watch!
There is still time to amputate!
The power of love will save him!
Step 4 - Depression:
This will be the most difficult stage to get through. I recommend a warm blanket and some hot cocoa. Ice cream is also a great remedy. If you have access to puppies and kitties those will work wonders for you as well!
Step 5 - Acceptance:
Wait until episode 5 arrives. Start it up, and realize one thing. Lee is dead. DEAD. Let him do his thing, save Clementine and GO OUT LIKE A BOSS! Play through episode 5, pour a nice cold drink for the man and toast his memory. Celebrate the life he led, do not fear its end.

The fact that the entire community is responding this way is a testament to telltales ability to create characters we truly feel for. Lee isn't just a set of pixels to us. He's a close friend that we have grown to care about and love as if he is a real person. I have never played a game before this one where I cared about the characters to this extent.
No point in trying to come up with ridiculous excuses like "he scraped the wood!" or "HE IS IMMUNE!!!111!!!".
I think its great though that people are connected to fictional characters as if they are real. I mean to people that havent played this game and would look at these forums would see us all as a bunch of wierdos, but the story is so compelling and told in a way that we connect with the characters and care a lot. I have never played a video game that has succeeded in this before. That's where I tip my hat to TT.
If they dare to kill clem i dont want to be here when the rage bomb hits the forums.
I was like.... well, he's got nothing left to lose, whoever took Clem is grade-A-fucked.
Heh yeah, a lot of people on this board are in denial and want to go with the 'He's immune' routine. That's not how it works in this universe.
I was kind of shocked when it happened, since I expected Lee to eventually get bitten/die in the last episode but I got over it pretty fast. After that I thought 'yeah, this is how it should be'
When the World as we know it goes down the shitter with the Outbreak there is not much room for " you win ", if people cant take that they are wrong in the Universe that Kirkman created.
I for myself enjoying the fact that things are more in a "adult" point of view.
So from a logical point of view i went straight to point 5 and just wait to finish this awesome ride.
If you can save Clem, that's a win.
But then, I always saw this as a "Lee's redemption through Clem" kind of story.
I immediately went to this, trust me, I have experience in dealing with character deaths!
