Update 1.03 OUT for PS3! [No more Save Bug]

Thanks Telltale for finally fixing the save corruption bug. I fortunately didn't have this issue, but I've seen many people here complaning about it. This shows how commited you are to the community and the forums. I have even more respect for you guys now.

It was also nice to make the update backwards compatible.
It will fix all broken saves if the player didn't delete it.

It was also really nice that you put a description for the update as well, I think you are the only company using this "hidden" feature on PS3. Not even the exclusive games use that when they release updates.

Back to action! Can't wait for the final episode and Season 2.

    Congrats, but what about one for xbox... I can't even play my other two saves because it forces me to pick save 1 no matter what.

    Finally I just finished EP4 with out any problems. I thanks TTG for fixing this problem. However that is fast EP4 just came out last week so I think they might of found out the problem before EP4 came out since they patched it this fast.

    The problem is it doesn't fix your saves. My saves are still completely wiped.

    Did you follow the instructions on the patch note?
    They tell how to fix your old saves.
    You can view the patch notes again by hitting triangle on the game icon.

    But does this patch introduce any new problems, or just fix the old ones?

    When i click on episode four it asked me if I want to generate a random story.


    Could someone explain it again?

    Did the instructions exactly and lo and behold, my progress is still completely wiped. I've begged for someone to respond to me for a few days now (here on the forums, email, and twitter) and no one will formally respond so I had no choice but to just start over. It's a shame because I really want to finish the story, but because of this I highly doubt I'll buy another Telltale product again. Yes, I'm angry and yes, I'm venting. I really wish one of the mods or SOMEONE could just respond to me and say

    "Hey, there's nothing you can do, we're sorry."'

    Even that in itself will make me feel like someone from Telltale has acknowledge the mess-up. But oh well. It's done I suppose.

    As far as I understood, when you boot up the game, it'll automatically install the patch. Once you enter the actual game, your saves are supposedly supposed to be there. You select your playthrough and rewind back one chapter. This is supposed to fix any corruption. The patch, however, doesn't address the people who like you and I when they entered the game still had blank saves.

    none of my saves are sthere...they all say new game....oh ok.... finished reading your post. yeah thats pretty fucking lame.

    whenever i try to start up my save on mac i am greeted with nothing but a blank screen and the menu mouse. i really want to start playing again and i would be very pleased if telltale would patch this. i don't know if this is the same thing for playstation but i need this fixed

    Same problem... except that my game now forces me to play only my second game save slot no matter what, tried all the tricks and fixes that I could find on these forums but with no luck.
    Waiting on that update fix for Xbox TellTale, not that it really matters as of this very minute because I've decided to wait till the last episode is released until I start playing again, I'm not taking the risk of having all this happen a second time.
