Why does Molly's animation seem so... Lazy?

edited October 2012 in The Walking Dead
I can't really explain it... But the way she blinks, her head movement, etc, she seems like a character from the Rudolph stop-motion movie from the 60s.

Maybe it's just because of her facial appearance, not so much laziness, but it REALLY looks like it rofl. Anyone else notice?

I feel some uncanny valley coming from Molly. So a lot about her feels off.

Fraid I don't know what that is... could you explain?

It's the weird gray area between cartoony and photo-realistic that makes cg characters look strange.

Personally, I don't see it from Molly though. The art style keeps it from getting into uncanny valley territory. Now Jurassic Park, that was a different story...

He said it^. While everyone looks almost cartoony, Molly's mouth and hair weird me out.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WprIQc6mIo4 is a good example of the uncanny valley. Something looks almost real, and you see it as a robot or something.
