The saint John's brothers got everyone killed

edited October 2012 in The Walking Dead
I have just realised almost everyone is dead just because of the saint John's brothers.
Without the Saint John's brothers we would have never met Ben as there would have been no bear trap so Ben wouldn't have got everyone killed. Mark wouldn't have died neither would Larry.
Lilly wouldn't have gone mad, Duck wouldn't have got bitten, doug/carley wouldn't have been shot.
We would have been prepared before we went and with the extra hands chuck wouldn't have died and neither would have any of Vernon's crew got killed.

We would ave still lost either Doug or Carley episode 1 but other than that we would have had an adequate team to be able to have kept an eye on Clementine and maybe even have been able to look for her parents.

It is all their fault

Well without meeting Ben they would have never known about everyone being infected, that right there could have wiped them all out. To many ifs and buts

Without meeting the Saints, they may have just stayed there at the motor inn forever, we will never know O;, no bandits attacking may have caused us to just stay there. To many ifs

Yeah, Larry probably would have just got up and killed them all if they didn't know everyone was infected.

    So Ben saved you all!

Without the St. John brothers the bandits would have been on your ass from day one. At least with their deal with the bandits keep them away from you for 3 months. At best Mark and Larry might not have died but I would still think the bandits would attack us just like they did in the end if we didn't deal with them like the brothers did.

Everyone's fault but Lee's. Told the group we shouldn't go with them.

everyone is indirectly responsible for everyone's deaths, just some more so than others. Ben for example, could be argued to be indirectly responsible for many deaths.

Also, Rachellouise85, Lee could have turned right at the RV shootout and saved Kat, Duck and Clem before Doug/Carly and Ben (see first sentence).

I fail to see how the St. Johns are the cause of everyone's deaths. Obviously if their families had never moved to rural Georgia in the first place centuries ago, they never would have been there to screw up the group in the first place.

Place the blame where it's due. The St. Johns' great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great grandparents. Because blaming anyone else is just stupid.

I'd like to know how you think Doug/Carley wouldn't have been shot? First of all, Doug/Carley wasn't shot, they were grabbed by Zombies when Lee had to decide between saving one or the other. Secondly, this happened in Episode 1, which was before the group even met Ben or the St. Johns brothers.

I mean episode 3 the one who is still alive is killed by Insane Lilly because of her paranoia caused by Larry's death

Not Ben's fault. If everyone hadn't voted to go to the dairy, The St John's would have left them alone, and the bandits wouldn't have messed with them because they would have still had a deal with the St. Johns.

I blame the cop at the beginning of the game. Friggin' dumbass, not watching the road.

actually, its all Kenny's fault, when the St John's walk by, Lilly says to lay low and let them pass by
but Kenny, being the genius he is, gets up and yells at them

Exactly. Not only did he provide that crucial information, but his deal with the bandits protected the group for a long time, since those bandits had vastly superior numbers and weaponry.

Ben is really the unsung hero of this game.

There were too naive in my opinion.

The Saint John’s brothers didn’t know Lee’s group and yet told them everything about how the place was secured (or so he thought).

The fact that the mother wouldn’t let me see Mark would set me off.

There is also just one skinny cow in the barn.

Some corn however too dangerous to harvest since walkers can hide in it.

Only three people to run the place, and only the mother when the two brothers are out.

Actually, that would make it Carley's fault in my game. Not everyone saved Doug. And even though Kenny confronts them, everyone in the group votes to go if Lee chooses to say no. So in that case, it's blame shared among the entire group.

It's all Lee's fault! If he had died in the car accident the group would never pass for the same situations and therefore nobody would have died! Genious.
