edited October 2012 in The Walking Dead
Hey guys something got my attention in Ep4 . Before Molly rings the church bell the radio guy warns us to get out of the street immediately. So i'm thinking ; is it possible the radio guy not an adversary ?

P.S. If any mistake in my English sorry. It isn't my native language.

    Friendly Foe

I don't think we can distinguish anything about him until EP5, he seems bad but then again TTG has a way of making characters seem bad when they aren't. (Christa, Omid.)

He kidnapped Clementine. I cant see how that makes him a friend. My theory he is someone who knows Lee and is using Clem to get revenge on him. Maybe someone related to the senator he killed.

I just think he wants to use Clem as a bargaining chip to get on the boat. How does he know? Molly works for him. Think about it. Molly keeps saying she wants to get on the boat and get away. The evening before Clem disappeared she says she doesn't want to go on the boat any more (Without a good reason in fact). Coincident? I think not.

I have no idea but him being related to the senator seems too far fetched for me.
How on earth did he track Lee down? has he been stalking him since the crash? and would someone really make it a priority to hunt Lee down in a freaking ZA.

At the bell ringing point you still had somthing he wants (Clem) so helping is in his best interest, thats why in the final scence in ep 4 he tell Lee to choose his next words carefully and you can choose "what do you want me to do?"

Well he warns you to get out the street in the beginning when the bell rings but also kidnaps Clementine, so maybe both.

He is a foe. Even if he warned you about the zombies, is because he didn't want you dead... yet. He kidnapped Clemmy, and threatened lee, no friends do that.

yeah... Welcome to the Internet :D

He wants you/clem alive and not eaten by zombies. He has absolutely 0 interest in getting you killed by zombies. So it's just natural that he warns you.

Blatantly a foe, but Telltale is just going to make us like him, like Larry and Duck.

I don't care if, at the end of this, he's all I JUST WANTED TO PROTECT HER. Unless he's literally her dad, or a close family friend or something I'm taking this fucker out.

That said, I won't do it if Clementine is there. This is the kind of thing I'll need to bring out "Old, killing a governor" Lee for. I didn't mind her seeing me kill the St. Johns - That had to be done. But this one... Unless he's just a maniac, I'll want her out of the room.

To put it another way, the last crazy person to get too close to Clementine was Jolene, and I put a bullet in her head. Radio Man will be just another notch on Lee's pistol.

I think the radio guy wants the boat. Think of it. Clem's probably told him everything since her radio began working, which I think was when Carley/Doug gave her batteries at the end of Episode 2. As soon as this guy hears something about some members of the group wanting to get a boat, he decides to manipulate Clem in order to try and push the group to leave sooner. Kenny was already jonesing for a boat, and if Lee suspected Clem's parents were alive it would give the group another reason to go to Savannah. I think he intended to kidnap her and blackmail the group into giving him the boat so he could get to safety. Seeing as how Clem isn't abducted if you leave her at the house during the Crawford raid, it may ahve been him waiting for the group to get back and finish the boat's preparations. He kidnaps Clem after the boat is ready, and demands it in exchange for her life.

Not a sound theory by any means, but if Clem told him about the boat I don't see why he wouldn't try to get it. Contacting Lee after he already has her shows he's willing to cooperate/negotiate. And what's the most valuable thing the group has that someone might want?

    Thats too optimistic and logical.

    Foe, he kidnapped Clem.

As for why he'd tell us to get out of the street, to keep us alive, but only for his own purposes. I'm guessing he kidnapped Clem to try to get the group to do his bidding, go to dangerous places and get him supplies and such.

This guess has walkie talkie man doing it for survival mainly, but it's still going to get him shot by living Lee or eaten by zombie Lee if I have anything to say about it.

He's Foe, Although in the EP 4 trailer, he was like "you need to get off the streets, now!" he sounded like he was helping, In Episode 4 retail he slightly more Evil.

Maybe he is like Jolene.Maybe he's doing this for her safety. But he is crazy,so he kidnaps her.Maybe he lost a child. That made him snap.

Edit:I know i sound like i'm on his side. But i'm not.I just expect a surprise in Ep5.Like he isn't a completely bad person.Maybe TT wants us to think he is bad.

Edit2:And Jolene wasn't bad.She tried to warn us too about St.Johns...

He will lead us to a cottage on a lake and strip us naked and eat lee's arm saving him because whilst eating it he will suck up the evil blood cells. He will then rape everyone else and the series will end.

    :] He's a foe.

It's just like TTG to muck this all up for us. I was certain the radio guy was a foe at the end of e3. Now, at the end of e4 I'm not so certain. I would still like to kill him though.

It's odd that he would warn us to get off the streets. Tells me he's in a elevated location. Like a high rise building where he can observe movement in the city below.

Even more odd, he takes Clem and thus has what he wants right? So why contact Lee? Unless he wants Carley's glock or something from Crawford there is no reason to contact Lee.
