    Yep that's exactly what I quoted :P

I didn't see that at first, sorry. lol

Link the review? I saw the IGN review and they shitted on this episode. Called it a filler. There was no review with the writers that I saw. Maybe I missed it.

I don't have a direct link to the review sorry

Was pretty obvious imho. Said this earlier.

Naw. Even if you aim perfectly on her head you can't kill her with your shot.
That's also why I think Molly will reappear in EP5, due to Telltale forcing her to survive.

If this review on IGN exist, it would be stronger evidence. It would be straight from the writers mouth.

But I think we can make a strong inference Molly will return in Ep. 5 because she can't be killed in Ep. 4.

I figured she'd come back once I learned that if you accidentally shoot her, she's only hit in the shoulder and is left behind. Like to see a link to the review, though.

Both written review and video review didn't show anything like this. I'm curious to see if this is actually true. Btw the wiki is only as good as the editors/contributors make it.

Either way gary whitta posted on a thread yesterday (molly as season 2 protagonist i believe) confirming that even if u dont save molly she is only left behind in a bad situation. straight from the writers mouth to these forum pages. thats enough for me to trust it.

Screw Molly. I'd rather have Lee survive Season 1, but thanks to the idiot who thought it might be cool to railroad bite Lee in Episode 4 that is not going to happen, anymore.

Am I the only one who hopes there's a small chance at least that we get to play as Molly next season/after Lee dies? The girl's got skill and may be better than Lee.

You are absolutely not the only one. I still think that a 10-year-old Clementine would probably kick way more ass than most adult characters in TWD universe, though.

Honestly, I hope that Molly is the protagonist of season 2, and, somehow, she is taking care of Clementine after Lee dies. :)

I really don't want season 2 to have no connection to season 1, so I think Molly would be the perfect character to pick up season 2 with, since, even if everyone in the current group were to survive episode 5, I can't see her sticking around with them.

I will leave clementine with molly so clem can be teached in her secret dojo and learn mollys badassness.

Yeah I felt the same. Molly leaving like that, I knew instantly she would be in episode 5. Why? Too much character depth went into Molly, her sister, the whole lot, for her to just disappear and never reappear. So yeah, we can certainly expect her to appear, don't need a spoiler for that!

I can also see her looking after Clem, the way she looked at Clem a few times and how she went on about her sister. I can see it happening...

Another interesting outcome would be to control Clem as an adult, years later...

    Murdering your wifes lover,

yep, that's a good role model.

i still think both Clem and Lee are going to die by the end of this. it is TWD i can see that happening.

She did it for her sister tho!
But that's still a funny steretype. If Lee was humping survivors everyone would see him as a hero. But if it's a female = slut :D. Guess it's the old lock/key thing

That's exactly what I was thinking. Molly was obviously very close to her sister. Since we know Lee will be dead by the end of episode 5, I can see her taking Clementine with her; taking care of her like the sister she lost.

It would be interesting to see an older Clementine, but I doubt they'd do that, since they would have to take a lot of liberties with Robert Kirkman's world, since he hasn't established what the world of The Walking Dead would be like that far in the future.

Yeah, because it would be much better to just let her sister die.

"Sorry, sis, I can't get you your medicine because I need to be a good role model."

I think it would have been cool if there was a humping mini game maybe that would be cool. i'm not saying she shouldn't have done it but still new person meeting molly and befriending her would be better, because i want to develop my character not one that we already know or partially know.

Is this the link you all are going on about?

    http://www.ign.com/articles/2012/10/09/the-walking-dead-the-game-episode-4-around-every-corner-review

I don't see anything about Molly.

Yeah,i agree.S2 could take place like after 1-2 years Lee's death. i'd like to play with Molly and 10-year-old Clem in my responsibility.

I was surprised to see it get such low reviews. I even saw a few 6.5s from reviewers that have the previous episodes 8s & 9

I didn't. This was my least favorite episode. Hollywood writers write Hollywood scripts.

This game is all about story but it felt less like a story and more about the action, just like a Hollywood movie.

I agree with the IGN review. It wasn't terrible but it was the worst episode so far.

Really now? I remember one action scene out of place(the bell tower scene... yeah) and the wrest was pure walking dead. Just because it has action doesn't mean it's not walking dead. An early comic was just Rick and Glenn shooting their ways through walkers. Another comic was just them mowing the walkers down for a prison.

    1. Guess what? It's just my opinon. There's no right or wrong.
    2. I said this game, not the Walking Dead universe. Buy the Activision FPS shooter is you like action so much. This game was not built for action. Shooting and even walking can be awkward.

i get what your saying but there needs to be some action in this game even if there not all that good except the bell tower scene

In regards to having Clem as the protagonist of S2... I suppose I'm up for it as long as she's not like really old; I'm not sure how further TWD universe has expanded, that would infere there has not been a cure in literally YEARS and if so..

It just makes my head hurt, UGH.

If you've got an article, great, but assumptions are just that :P I know he mentioned that Molly can't be killed, but that doesn't tell you much about season 2.

Weird, I thought Molly would be a one-shot character (get it?). I thought they wrote her out at the end so they wouldn't have to worry about (read: kill) her next episode.

But I guess if zombies are coming from everywhere, she might decide she wants on that boat after all.

    Hoho, you're hilarious.

I reaaaaaally would like it if we get her as next season's main character, but I have to agree I did feel like she was going to be a fodder character, specially after I saw the Doctor move after she went to town on him; I was like GURL YOU DONE FOR.

No clue if she is in episode 5 was just confirming (via the writer of this episodes post) that she does not and can not die. She only is left behind...beyond that I'm assuming they are gonna keep everything a secret about this ep. no screenshots...no trailers. just the ep when its available and I like it. makes the wait even more unbearable:p

True it was the weakest of them all but to see a 6.5 was shocking.

Gary is there a chance molly will appear next episode because i heard in an interview some writer from the game confirmed it
I saw that thread; seems like a case of confusion or wishful thinking. I've never said one word about Molly in any interview since all the interviews I've done were before Ep4 even came out.

Just thought I'd leave this here.
  • edited October 2012
Yeah I really hope Molly is in episode 5. There is just so much mystery about her character. She was definitely hiding a lot, and I'd like to know about her past.
