Walking Dead for Game Of the Year.

It has MASSIVE potential. All the deaths in the game make it more emotional, more memorable. Each episode has its dramatic moments, epic moments, sad moments. It is generally just an epic game!

If it's not GOTY then I will eat my shoe.

    i agree with you but think about it Mass Effect 3, Darksiders 2, Borderlands 2, Assassins creed 3, black ops 2, far cry 3, halo 4 and more you didn't think about them did you. i want walking dead for it but i doubt it

    I know what you mean, but if you think about just the storyline... What could beat this game? Nothing, apart from if GTA4 was made this year but it wasn't.

    gta 4 was made like 4 years ago the dlc came out like 3 years ago man the most recent rockstar game to get goty was read dead. You math is a little off plus gta 5 is out next year so gta 4 been out for a while

    more like Story of the year. SOTY. definitely one of the best I've played in my long years of gaming.

    This is a great game, but I doubt it will win GOTY. Even for the Golden Joystick awards, Minecraft will probably pass it for best downloadable game (As it has in the past. :rolleyes:)

    GOTY: AC3 CODBO2 Halo4 ME3 and some others

    I'd go with Story of the Year - it's too buggy for Game of the Year...... heh

    gta 5 is gonna sweep the categories again, dishonored will get some awards along with the usual games, walking dead may get an award but i wouldnt hold my breath.

    You don't get what I mean.. I'm saying the only game that could beat The Walking Dead for storyline is GTA4. But that wasn't out this year it was out in 2008!

    Yeah this will be a serious contender on my list, unless episode 5 manages to suck.:D

    Other than that theres Mass Effect 3, Dishonored and Asura's Wrath (play it if you havent). I suspect Assassin's Creed 3 will make the list as well before the year is out.

    I'd say "Best Downloadable Game" is more likely.

    My choice for GOTY, so far, would have to be Mass Effect 3 (which was a great game, crappy endings aside), or Dishonored.

    Though, I have a feeling that will change once Assassin's Creed 3 hits shelves in a little over a week. There is nothing I love more than Assassin's Creed, and AC3 looks like it will be the best one yet. Even though I will miss Ezio a whole lot.

    Well, I think this game worth it after all. It´s very good, but it´s too short :( (bad combination when you only wants MOAR!)

    You get more value for your money with TWD than what you do when you watch a film at the cinema :)
