Why are people talking about episode 2....

he was trying to protect is daughter from a convicted killer but i think he should at least got to know me 1st D:

I hate him because Lee risked his life to get his medicine, then he thanks knocking Lee, and let him die.
but I hate his daughter more than he.

I actually kinda liked the grumpy old fart, even though he tried to get me killed.

Larry was an understood asshole. He probably watched his wife die and just wanted to make sure Lilly was always safe. With that said, fuck Lilly for shooting Carley, so in turn, fuck Larry. DX

    Why...... not?

He was fine, a rude old fart, but some of his insults made me laugh. Some of his actions were understandable as well since he knew Lee was a convicted murderer, though I had Lee be a bit more antagonistic to him after Ep. 1.

he was bad for lee, in another situation he may have been a great ally, but him hating lee and a his heart condition made him the enemy of Lee's (and even clementine's) life

i forgot to make this a public poll
    NOOOO!!!

I despised Larry right down to his shriveled, black heart, but I still tried to save his sad, evil ass.

As a person he was an asshole through and through, but as a character he was awesome. I miss him simply for his rants and insults, which were one of the best things about the game.

hes dead lets not give a dam anymore.

I like to think of that whole incident as helping a good friend (Lilly) rather than trying to save someone who tried to kill me (Larry). So, for Lilly's sake I tried to save Larry.

This, that more or less covers my opinion. lol

Ill remember Larry forever, he had one gigantic nose
anyways, I would have liked to have seen how Larry would have reacted had Kenny not murdered him
    either:
    1. Hes still an ass which would very firmly establish complete trust between Lilly and Lee, as Lilly would realize more than ever how much trust she can put in him
    2. He starts acting neutral towards Lee (he would never be openly nice to him) and that establishes a majority camp with Lee, Larry, Lilly and Doug to get Kenny to stop trying to takeover to put people in danger.

I hated the guy, but the moment when Lilly told me that he's doing everything to protect his daughter made me see him in a different light. I wonder what his reactions would be to everything if he were still alive in episode 3.

Larry actually made me laugh quite a lot in this game. Dunno, still I kinda liked him even though he was a dick to me most of the time and I sincerely started to hate Kenny, when he killed him for no particular reason. I still remember the scene at the fence, when you can offer Larry some jerky and he's kinda regretting treating you like crap. He even started being nice to you...you know, as nice as grumpy Larry can get.

Larry wasn't an idiot, unlike Kenny or Ben and it's a shame he died like that, but well. It was his own fault.

He tried to protect his daughter (who will later become a murderer) from a convicted murderer by attempting to become a murderer himself.

Nah, he wasn't. He tried to leave you behind once, that's about it. I could understand him perfectly during arguments, he had a point, allthough he was a tad too radical. Duck could have been bitten, Lee, Clem and Kenny's Family were strangers to him and strangers can turn out to be quite dangerous in TWD, as we have seen. Ben was another mouth to feed and they already didn't have enough food for their own people. You can say a lot of things about Larry, but he was far away from being stupid.

Lee didn't kill anyone in Episode 1 and 2 until the meat locker incident, except that one guy who his wife was cheating with, as far as I know. The bitten girl suicided, Doug/Carley got killed by walkers, chop chop leg either died because you couldn't save him and didn't cut his leg off, or because you cut his leg off which you did without the intention of killing him. Idiot Ben's idiot friend died because he was an idiot and that's about it. The very first person you actually get to kill intentionally in this game is Larry - but even then Kenny is the actual killer, not Lee. That leaves you with the St.John brothers or the panicked girl in Episode 3. All of them happen after the meat locker situation.

I really like the huge amounts of irony in this game.

Not to mention a convicted murderer that more or less saved his stupid ass (pills) and the group.

Larry was a punk bitch who deserved the salt-lick transplant.

Larry was a class A jerk. However as I told Mark, he's just a father looking out for his daughter.

Larry is fine. Even though I killed him.

Larry was a mayor jerk. Someone said it already, he was mean, but far away from being an idiot. Larry always had a good point in all the arguments, but he was way too radical *cough* same with Kenny/Lilly *cough*. Larry would be (grumpy old man like) nice to you, if you were nice to him. Same with Lilly, she seemed to be selfish, but she really shows interest/concern about Lee if to we're nice to her. Finally, same with Kenny, who turns into a massive jerk of you were mean to him or his family. Larry was bad, but he wasn't the worst. Everyone hates Larry because they hated him since the very beginning, meaning he would hate you for the rest of the game. "buffalo shit" describes him pretty well, that's my vote :P
