If you dropped Ben? No. Walker Ben will eat everyone.
If you didn't? No. Walker Lee will eat everyone except Ben.

No way that this is going to happen. Even Kirkman knows better than leaving Carl all alone in the comics.

I thought he was going to try it when Rick had that fever. I actually thought it might be a challenge to see it. I envisioned Carl and Sophia leading the next generation...before she went as batty as her mom that is.

It's going to be like at the end of the movie “The Mist”, when you think everything's lost but right at the end the army arrives and start cleaning up the place.

I guess I have more faith in children than you do, technically they would adapt quicker than most adults and finding food for one 8 yr old wouldn't be that hard when she already walks around savannah on her own and kills zombies with one shot headshots. I say her chances are better than christa or omid on their own but hey thats just my own dumb opinion. Clem for the new Jesus 2012:p

Nah, she'd be dead inside a week. Seriously though, an 8 year-old by herself would be doomed even if she was a crack shot since she can't melee or parkour and ammo is a limited commodity. And while children do seem to have the potential to adapt to the new world better than a teenager or adult the only ones who did so that I can think of is Carl and perhaps Clem though she's still a work-in-progress. And, of course, all the adapting in the world doesn't change physical limitations and outside of a group even the most badass kid is walker bait.:p

In the book version of the mist there is no army.
