Are the police cars in A New Day Rick's?

Think about it...he sees those two cars first drive by.

    Does it fit timeline wise? I think the police cars there are heading towards Atlanta, which is one issue. Another I can see is that the ZA already occured at the start of the video game, while Rick's coma occurs a few days (weeks?) before the events, right?

    correct^^ Rick has been in a coma for a while already by the time the outbreak occurs
