If Lee is bit then...

edited October 2012 in The Walking Dead
What will happen in season 2 if lee is bit??? I don't want him to die but do you think there will be some sort of cure, or he will turn and you will play as another character? I really don't want him to die but I'm assuming that's what will happen. What do you think?

Nope. No cure. This is Kirkman's world, and there is almost no chance whatsoever there will be a cure in the comic, so I doubt he would go along with a cure in the game.

It's overwhelmingly likely that it will be a new protagonist in Season 2. Unless they do some kind of a switch and say "Oh wait, Lee wasn't really bitten, he just cut himself during the scuffle!" Lee is absolutely dead. No one that didn't have their limb immediately amputated in The Walking Dead has survived a bite.

He's dead. There was always a high probability that he wouldn't make it through the series. It's The Walking Dead, everybody dies. We'll follow someone else's story for Season 2. Possibly a survivor from Season 1 or maybe just a whole new group of people.

I think it's actually kind of a bold, and frankly good move by Telltale. Do I want Lee to die? No. Is it necessary? Yes. The Walking Dead is built around the concept that no one is safe. Ever. Everyone has a high chance to and WILL die. Even the main character who usually has pretty thick plot armor has a chance to die and isn't invulnerable to the dangers of the world.

Kirkman has shown time and time again that he considers no character's sacred. So many fan favorites have gotten the axe during the comic run. Frankly, it's a little shocking that Rick has lasted as long as he has. Kirkman has stated time and time again that Rick IS GOING TO DIE at some point during the run of the comic. We don't know when or how. Hell, it could happen in issue 104 if he wants to. He's lasted this long, but he won't be around forever.
