Yes. I took a risk with the Season 1 Season Pass and I am more than satisfied, so I'm trusting my money with TellTale :).

It does, I see why people get so angry at those who are purely too lazy to learn and use correct grammar.

"Does it really matter?" Yes it does when this generation is just a mass of bumbling idiots.

Keep up the laziness and we'll all be headed straight towards an Idiocracy.

I'm annoyed by the delays, constant download/playing issues, and lack of communication. I won't pre-order another Telltale product. I might purchase it once the entire game is released on PC/Mac.

Oh that's why I couldn't find it lol. I really wanted to get them all at once because then I could play all day but I will have to buy separately, I was hoping for season pass on XBOX for season 2 after I did some research but not going to happen :(

I think the reason is because of Microsoft.
Microsoft isn't exactly "soft" when it comes down to money.
$4.00 each episode (400 Microsoft points) is a total of $20.00 (2000 Microsoft points) its a good deal for Microsoft since they can become as cheap as EA games

Yeah, they aren't cheap. Microsoft are milking these Walking Dead episodes for all there worth, it's a good chance for them to make some good money, if you think of all the people who are buying the episodes, and when they heard that TellTale are releasing a season 2 they were probably jumping for joy, more money for them. And the season pass would mean a loss in money, but I think that they could get some more people interested in playing on the XBOX instead of the other formats this game is available on.

    Well, it depends on

-How good episode 5 will be, especially the ending.
-How good Telltale's communication will be in the future.
-The product quality of the next releases, especially towards save issues and PC convertion.

Yeah, this is the conditions many people are basing it on, however I think that if they make a new season with different characters then it will be a whole new thing, you would have to give it a chance. So really it is a gamble for buyers. And I cannot purchase a season pass on the XBOX which is super annoying.

The save issues on the PC will probably be altered soon, however this shouldn't of ever happened in the first place. But I hope that season 2 is just as good as season 1 :)

    its business logic

Yeah, Microsoft have always been greedy and nothing is going to change that. It is a shame that they can't try it for season 2 but they won't because like you say, they will lose a heck of a lot of money in process and it would be bad for them, although they are a very very rich company, they are out for all the money they can get.

I was about to write the same thing!
  • edited October 2012
Probably. Episodes were slow to come out so far, but it's still a wonderful game.
  • edited October 2012
Maybe. The Walking Dead is like Titanic. The first time, you know everyone is going to die, but you can watch it and see how it unfolds.

But if someone tried to get me to watch Titanic 2 because it has all new people who are going to die on another giant boat ... come on ... how many times can I care about the same thing?

So ... maybe the TWD world is deep enough to make another season. I think I'll leave it up to how the season ends and if the trailers for the next season looks like it changes up the formula enough.

Lee must survive it there's a season two, and HELL YES I'M PRE-ORDERING IT!

Ok but English isn't everyone's first language

Will buy the season pass once it is discounted like season one's pass got discounted at $15. I will buy the PS3 disc version when it is released too just like i'm doing with the first season.
  • edited October 2012
I think the reason is because of Microsoft................................................
Sony(PSN) has the episodes for sale individually and as a season pass. All they did was take however much each episode cost than put it all together and sell it that way. Much better way of selling it IMHO and it lets the player know that once it's out you can download it without having to go through the whole purchase process again.

This will basically be my major deciding factors.

    that is no excuse.

Whatever language you speak, read, and write you have to do it perfectly as well as use all the grammar and accent marks correctly.

Otherwise people will use it as a easy way to criticize your intelligence.

Not right away if TTG doesn't already have a lot of content already in post production by the time the first episode is released. More than a months wait between each episode is one con that will outweigh a lot of pros for a game of this nature.

It's poor form to buy your development time by straining customer patience. If instead they have 3 episodes already completed (released exactly a month apart) they would easily have time for the final two episodes to meet deadlines.
