Different Ending Idea for Ep 5
Hey Guys-
I'm new to the forum, so bear with me . I just had to join in after playing TWD and reading all the awesome commentary.
I wanted to propose a ending for Ep. 5 that I have not seen anyone post yet:
I think that (despite how much I would love to believe otherwise ) that Lee will indeed die from the bite he sustained at the end of Ep. 4, and more than likely he will shoot himself after saying his goodbyes to Clem. Here's the twist: Remember when Carley gave Lee the recorder in Ep. 2? I think that Lee has been "recording his thoughts" like Carly recommended and in the end he will either give the recorder to Clem or she will find it on him. The final scene will then be "What Remains" of Lee as you get a replay of the decisions you have made and his thoughts regarding them and the situations you have endured. The last recording will be his farwell message to Clem and him encouraging her to stay strong. Obviously this will be an emotional exchange, but it could also be a perfect precursor to the next season .
Either that or Lee accesses a secret armory in Savannah somewhere and manages to acquisition numerous assault rifles and the final scene is everyone getting on the boat watching as Lee faces the Zombie hoard alone with "Escape" by TDWP playing in the background. The last cut scene is Lee turning to the goup and saying "For Clem!!!!" and charging the hoard in one final act of courage. \m/
Either way, it will kick ass

I forgot about that recorder. The idea of him recording his thoughts makes sense i like this idea well the recording part.
Another quick note: it could be the "replacement" for Clem's walkie-talkie in season 2. I would love to hear your feedback / ideas.
The first part (with the recorder and all) sounds just awesome! Truely hope that will be included in the next episode
However, I would facepalm if Lee said "For Clem!!!!". That would be too.....Narnia.
I'd think it would be awesome if he went out by luring a huge herd towards him, then climb up on top of a gasoline truck, or some other highly explosive area and blow himself and the herd to hell, while clem and the others escape on the boat.
Then they all sadly stare at the smoke plume left behind by Lee's finale badass sacrifice, with epic sad music going, similar to the music on TWD TV show when the farm is overrun and their all driving away staring back at it.
Lovin' the cam-corder idea. Don't really want be the guy that points out that unless TT actually made an ending similar to that, then apparently all our ideas or either wishful thinking or good guesses.
In which case, he records stuff about his secret, undying love for Carley (plus what shit went down with that Senator). I only hope that they will be together in the end..............
*cough*ILoveyouCarley*cough*
P.S. Lee's wife is "probably up in Virginia" according to Lee when talking to Hersel. Nothin' much else, but she was a bitch anyway so who cares? She cheated on Lee, man!
So damn awesome. And welcome to the forums.
That is a good possibility. Someone else mentioned that it doesn't show up in his inventory, which is also a good point, but I don't remeber it showing up in his inv. after he found it or after Carley/Doug gave it back too him either. I guess we will just have to wait and see.
I a world of bottomless back pockets who knows?!
Lee, with his last bit of time and strength manages to save Clem.
Lee turns soon after.
Ultimately it is only Clem who is in a position to take Lee down.
Did she love you too much and be kept sheltered? She'll fail to shoot you and thus fail to save herself.
Does she hate you/Has she had enough opportunities to put her tougher lessons to use? She'll gather the courage to save herself.
Or maybe it'll go the exact opposite. Maybe she'll already be safe to depart on the boat, but refuses to shoot you in order to let you suffer through undeath. Or maybe she cowerfully can't bring herself to shoot a Lee she loves, filling her with guilt later.
There are so many ways TTG can play with this scenario. It can't be screwed up if this is the ultimatum they reach.
Also on the side, TWD hasn't been known to throw in cheesy optimism unless they set it up to so they can smash it down minutes later. Saying this I reckon Ben will not redeem himself. Heck if you save him only to show more distrust by leaving him at the boat, I bet he'll take off with it.
LOL!! I was actually going for more of an Aragon "For Frodo" Lord of the Rings moment than C. S. Lewis, but what the hell.
Hell Yeah!!! Lee is Legend \m/
Thanks!
But ofcourse, if you saved Doug in episode 1....... My god...
