I took Clem to Crawford, allowed her to vote on kicking Ben out of the group, and pulled Ben up. She deserves to be taken to Crawford, And Ben deserved to be Pulled up. I wanted to see him redeem himself, Even though I left him to guard the boat. We'll see how it turns out.

I let her come, and let her vote but I already decided that I'd save Slim Ben. Clemie-Clem had nothing to do with my desicion apart from being cute as usual.
I also got everyone to help my find her...at least I did until my 3, 24-hour-long saves got corrupted again!! >:[
Now I have go through my Carley phase again....nooooooooooooooooooooo! T_T Why?! Why Car, why?!

Telltale should really let people know before the update that not opening up the game would keep saves! If they can't fix the damn problem, they can at least admit there is one! (and how about updating your blog for EU psn releases? It's like we don't exist--and don't deny it, I hear nothing about it after it comes out. Period.)

I saved Ben because Doug died saving him. Ben needs to redeem big time if he wants to die.

I saved Ben because...well it seemed pretty messed up to just let him die..even if he was a worthless piece of garbage most the time. It had nothing to do with Clem or anything, I just felt it was right. Like I was mad at Lily for killing Carley I really liked her but I still brought her back in the RV. Just the kinda person I am I guess. :P

I'm curious about the people that actually dropped Ben the first time around.

There's a clear pattern emerging of people that pulled Ben up. A clear majority brought Clem.

I'm guessing that of the people that dropped Ben, they left Clem behind. But no way to tell until they vote or TT gives some numbers!

I didn't bring Clem along, but I still defended Ben when Kenny lashed out at him, and pulled him up later on. If I had brought Clem along, it would have only reassured me about my decision of fully backing Ben up :D

Well, I didn't bring Clem because I thought Crawford would still be alive and we'd be getting shot at. I dropped him because it looked like there was no time to save him, and staying any longer than we had to at Crawford probably would have resulted in another person's death. I dropped him to get the rest of the group to safety, and felt like total shit afterward. Especially when I had to explain it to Clem. If I'd brought her along, I probably would have pulled him up.

Interesting topic. I brought Clem along (not sure if that was the right choice but I did), allowed her to vote, then I voted to kick Ben out of the group and dropped him. I'm generally as nice as I can be to Clem but if I believe she's wrong on something, then, well she's wrong.

Took Clem along, allowed her to vote and dropped Ben.... I don't care if you guys want to quote me saying a load of shit, because I chose what I chose for my reasons. I listened to clem but I didn't want her to rule my decisions I wanted them to be based on what I have seen not what she thinks, I allowed her to vote because I wanted her to feel included but I don't want to have to carry out her thoughts all the time otherwise they turn into demands and orders not ideas.

i let clem join us in crawford, i let her vote, but i accidently dropped ben
i let clem join us in crawford, no vote for clem, but i accidently dropped ben

I took Clem to Crawford, allowed her to vote on kicking Ben out of the group, and pulled Ben up.

My choice had nothing to do with Clem though. Hell if Clem told me with a cute face that i should drop him I wouldn't even have done it. Clementine never influenced any of my choices.

I did the exact same thing. ;)

I didnt want to take Clem with me to a potential shoot out and so left her at home.

Honestly didnt even think of her when i made the choice about Ben, just not going to kill a guy for making mistakes.

I didn't take Clem, I felt it was more dangerous than leaving her in the house. I pulled Ben up because I never had any urge to kill him or let him die.

I allowed Clem to vote, and I stayed silent after she had wanted Ben to stay in the group. I pulled up Ben, but not because of Clem. In this decision, Clem had no influence on the reason for me to pull Ben up.

I let Clem come to Crawford, let her vote and saved Ben.

I probably would have dropped him if Clem had not had her say. I was pretty upset with him after the hatchet incident. But I think Clem is right, you don't leave friends behind. Until Ben actively tries to hurt someone he gets to stay.

But saving Ben was my own choice and even if Clem wasn't here or if I didn't let her vote I would have save him. For me he is not a bad guy, he causes a lot of trouble but he really fells guilty and all was in the intention of helping, I don't think we can really blame him.

I think it this is feeding into a larger theory of Clem being a strong moral force but also just with this question that Clem did influence people's choice, if they know it or not.

My guess is that Ben would have been dropped far more often if Clem wasn't around.

Of the people that didn't bring Clem, it's basically 4:1.

Of the people that brought Clem, it's 8:1.

There's plenty of other things that can explain this but it's interesting.

I brought Clem to Crawford (stupid to leave her with Omid if he dies and she has to kill him - although we see she's okay with killing zombies, could she really kill someone she knows? also walkie guy could get her)

I let her vote on Ben but only because I thought it would be mean to say no because she should get a say in the group.

Ultimately I did drop Ben though because at that point his life was in my hands and he had let enough people die and put Clem especially in danger enough times for him to have become worthless. On top of that, he begged me. Maybe he didn't think I'd actually do it but eh guess he found out otherwise.

I brought Clem to Crawford, let her have a vote and I pulled Ben up. But I would have done so anyway. I cast Lilly out of the group because she decided she had the right to execute someone on the spot. Dropping Ben to his death is virtually the same thing.

Ben has messed up a number of times, but he does not deserve to die.

I'm in the biggest group, yay :)

Also, RedPanda, I think it has something to do with the fact that a lot more people chose to bring Clem with them, too :d

    here's my take on it.

clem has shown a few times that she can take care of herself and that she isn't blind to the obvious dangers, but lee said 'we'll always be together', so why say that and not bring her along ? why leave her with a 'dying man' omid ? also the creepy/campman' dude could return and nab her ?
( well he did actually do it eventually)

and we also know omid is a little creepy around kids.

Well, because since the player doesn't know Crawford is overrun with walkers, the threat of a shitload of armed people that don't like kids and trespassers seemed bigger to me than the threat of Omid possibly turning (which I didn't even consider because to me he was fine, his leg was just a bit fucked up). Even if he turned, the house is pretty big, she'd have plenty of places to hide. Since I imagined she could lock the door or something, the threat of creepy dude wasn't also that big to me. And later on you get the option to give her a gun =P

yeah the house seemed safer than a stealth raid on a hostile compound, i did consider Omid turning thats why i gave her the gun, but the way it played out i thought i would have the chance to ask someone else to stay with her before we left (i would have picked ben :) ) but it turns out the house for some reason let zombies in and Clementine killed them so i was shocked and impressed by that
