What did you do with Ben?

edited November 2012 in The Walking Dead
hi
What did you with Ben?
Leave to Die OR Save Ben?
You have 2 choice:
1.Let him die and make Clementine sad and Not being the Good Guy anymore.
2.Keep him alive,Clem will be happy but He has killed Katja , Dock , Cearly / Doug and the Dr's wife.
Maybe he make another Damn mistake...perhaps it happen to your Clementine.
Will be Ben alive to THREAT your daughter's life?
What Did you do?
Take The RISK?Why?
Make The Church end of his life? Why?

I pulled him up. Because I had the option to do it.

Saved him. Can't just let him die. That would be wrong.
He didn't kill Katja, she killed herself. He didn't kill Duck, he was bitten by a walker. He didn't kill Carly, Lilly shot her in the face.
I don't know who the Dr's wife is but chances are Ben didn't kill her either.

All Ben did was some dumb shit because he's scared. People do some dumb shit when they're scared.

Because he's a good kid even if his intentions screwed us up. Those bandits would've attacked earlier if Ben hadn't made that deal.

I let him go. For the greater good of everyone, the fella died a hero.

I sacrificed him for the greater good of my group, and so that no more people in the future will come into contact with the disaster magnet that is Ben.

Kenny's not my bro and he never had my back from the start. I don't like Lilly and Larry period. So in the end I ultimately decided to save him so he can redeem himself. In the end the less people in your group the less of a force you'll be. I'd rather be one man up then one man down. An extra body wouldn't hurt to help fight off or distract zombies.

Ben may have screwed up but I thought it would just be wrong to let him go.Besides,he might (emphasis on might) even turn out to be the hero in episode 5...he better be because I've brought everyone with me...

    I pulled him up.
he begged me to let him go.
    that's suicidal.
If he begged me to pull him up then I let him go

Dropped him because the walkers were closing in and I thought there wasn't time to save him without endangering everyone else even more. I also thought he'd die anyway if I tried to save him. He died a hero in my game though, but I still think I chose the wrong thing.

Yes.Ben didn't kill them, but he was the main reason. He must avowal the truth.if it happened, that was because of Ben.

    Yes,you,re right.I agree with TheNNerdGamer.

    *******************

But I think it would be good to keep him alive.
Maybe he can help us.I mean They took Clementine hostage and...The more,The better
    Do you think same?

How about The bitten hand?I do not think to Lee's die.How about you?

^^ Ben made a really compelling argument to drop him, so I did.

    Ben is only a kid.
    Is like the Clementine´s Brother.

Because Ben is not a Bad Guy

I gave his gratuitous stupidity many implied face-palms......

I saved him because he didn't intentionally do anything wrong. Every stupid thing he's done has been because someone else did something stupid.

    - He didn't tell people about the Bandits because Kenny and Lily were always at each other's throats and he didn't feel that they would do anything except argue and bicker right up until the Bandits attacked.
    - He didn't keep an eye on Clem because Christa asked him to help her and he thought that Clem would respect Lee's instructions.
    - He didn't know about the axe because nobody told him that there were Walkers bashing down that door and Kenny *told* him to find something to break down the Armory door.

Ben isn't stupid, he's a poor kid who nobody tells him what the f*** is going on and then blame him when he makes a mistake.

On the other hand, Kenny is a self-serving coward who talks big but likes to blame everyone else for his own stupid mistakes. Kenny was the one who kept getting Katjaa and Duck into danger. Kenny is the one who kept telling Lee to take dangerous risks with the promise of backing him up and then when the chips were down would leave Lee in the shit to fight his way out.

There was never any question that I would save Ben, because looking at the bigger picture it was clear that Ben is not useless - it's just that nobody gives him a chance or keeps him informed.

And ultimately, even in a zombie apocalypse there is no excuse for deliberately killing a person that you could save. Even if they are a self-serving loudmouth a-hole like Kenny.

That's true that Kenny Never Supported Lee
But I'm not agree with the moment that Ben could save Clem.He could and he must protect her,Because I HAD TOLD HIM.
He must avowal the truth when Lily wanted to know the guilty if he did maybe he could save Carley/Doug,So he didn't and let him/her die.even he was the reason of Chuck's death and now you can do this with himself.
But if you save Ben,you are good guy and you won't regret.
I will go & pull him him up but I still think that's not Justice but you will be HONEST and it's very important for Training of Clem...

I chose to pull Ben up for reasons that I thought would best serve Lee. The more people around, the more people to die before they get to Lee and Clem. There were other reasons too.

Ben isn't stupid at all, however he is one of (what I believe would be the majority in case of a ZPocalypse) those people who have not adapted to the new surroundings and terrain they now find themselves in. Omid is similar, but he has a little more street smarts. Lee, Kenny, Lilly, Carley, all managed to adapt pretty quickly.

Where Ben WAS undeniably stupid was in telling Kenny about the bandits and his role in the subsequent storyline. The fact is, Ben served only himself by outing that information. He chose to try to allay his guilt by getting that particular issue off his chest. It did nothing more than to serve his own selfish and frankly childish needs. That being said, he is just a kid.

    Love the moral ambiguity!
