Free episode 4 stops working if I try to play

Playing on Steam, I get a lovely error "sammax104_drm.exe has stopped working." I am on Vista, and I've tried redownloading. The only Sam and Max I've ever played before was the Season 1 demo (opening of Episode 1) on Steam, which worked fine. Thanks.

    Did you play the Ep1 demo recently? If not would you mind downloading a demo again to see if it works?

    Tried the demo, it works. Episode 4 still out.

    Hmm, well I don't know what the difference is for Steam's DRM between the two episodes. This may be their problem if the demo works for you, as there shouldn't be any differences in the game code.

    Steam doesn't even have the demo anymore, I got the demo from Filefront.com
