It's alright. I'm all up to date. So Rick starts off in the middle of the game's episode 5?
1) In TWD movies, Rick was about 2 weeks in coma. So this is the date when ZA started.
2) Action in EP5 TWD game occurs after several months since ZA in deep autumn (Rick awakes in mid summer imo), so as answer at your question - i think no, it is probably happened between EP1 and EP2 of the game.
This. Also, it should be noted that TWD game ends (it seems) before Rick and Co. leave the camp outside of Atlanta.
Is that so? They left the camp the day after getting the ammo bag back right? which is not more than a day or two after finding Rick in Atlanta and leaving Merle on that roof.
I think season 1 of TWD series goes by in a few days time inside the universe. Most of the in universe time is spent in the series seems to be at Hershel's farm so far. They were probably there for weeks if not even a full month.
Lee's group was at the Motel for what.. 3 months I believe? Between episode 1 and 2. So yeah.. most of what Rick's group is going through in season 3 is still happening while Lee is at the Motel. But yes, the time between start of episode 2 and start of 3 seems a matter of a week or 2 at most.. while everything in 3 and 4 seems to happen within a handful of days.

The game exists in the comic universe. In the comic they didn't leave the camp outside of Atlanta until after winter.
Some people mentioned that Lilly is with the gouvernor? That means she must have met up with him, before Rick reached the prison, I guess (I didn't read or watch that part yet).
And in the comic the group seems to leave the Atlanta outskirts in Winter or close to it's end. I think it was around Christmas? I remember Rick not wanting the children to know about it. Anyway, when they reached the little town/community (in the comics) there were frozen zombies and snow. And the snow was melting the next day. So for me it's hard to tell the time/season.
Anyway .. Rick can't survive weeks in the hospital without water, right? Or how long does the IV hold? That means he must have woken up 1-4 days after the doctors and nurses were dead or left (hence the outbreak). So I guess when Rick woke up, Lee was at the motel and Asian guy (Glenn?) has already left. Because Glenn needed to be with Ricks future group.
It also took Rick a few days or so it seems to get to the group in Atlanta. He Drove some, then rode/walked the horse. I was wondering about Glens timing with the Atlanta Group also, he would have had to leave Lee and Co. and been with Shane & them for sometime since he had been on a few supply runs before he met Rick. I would like see Glens back story of him leaving Lee's Group looking for family/friends in Atlanta (?, did he find them dead?) and meeting the main walking dead group.

That is a very good question and one I just never thought about before you brought it up. It was made clear that Rick was in the hospital for some time prior to this incident taking place so more than likely the hospital staff kept him fully hydrated via IV's. Most IV's (I've had two before) took me about an hour to take it all, but they can be regulated by the drip speed.
Since Rick is in a Coma he wouldn't be moving or eating, conserving even more of his water then an awake Rick would. I believe he could survive up to two weeks depending on how hot that hospital became (unless the AC was still working). Most people agree that about 12 days is the max for an awake person, relaxing in the shade and no more than 70 degrees F/27 degrees C would make it possible.
Go back and play episode 1. that's what he was doing. An IV bag like that would last maybe 8-12 hours. Rick probably woke up one to two days after it all turned south. Maximum amount of days a human can go without water = 3, and that is IF they are well hydrated to begin with. And by the end stages of Dehydration he would have been suffering, delusional, and not in any shape to even recognize where he was.
So Rick woke up one to two days after it happened. I would say Episode 1, Herschel's farm, the pharmacy, or the very beginning of the motel stay.

Yeah, my guess is that Lee and crew were at the Motel when Rick awaken and met Morgan & his Son.

Ah yes, of course! Important detail that. Didn't realise that honestly..
