A Hypothetical Dilemma

edited December 2012 in The Walking Dead
You (Lee), Kenny, and Clem are trapped in an building.

Clem is an room with 10 walkers quickly closing in on her. The only weapon you have is a bat. It's highly likely she'll be killed before you reach her.

Kenny is unconscious and has 3 walkers closing in. You can save him easily, but it will mean Clem dies.

You could try to save Clem but Kenny will die when you could have easily saved him.

Who do you help?

it would depend on how highly likely Clementine would be killed, if the zombie already had his teeth clamped on her neck but hadn't broken the skin yet and we were like 50 meters away, then she would already be dead to me.

it is extremely dependent on the little details of the situation

Save Clem. Kenny's dead on the inside, and now the outside will match.

Go and save Clem. The two started the apocalypse together, and that's how it's going to end.

If there was no Chance to Save clem i'd choose Kenny, but "highly likely" wont stop me from trying to Save clem

Id save clem, since the death of Kenny's family affected his character to much.

How close is Clem to these walkers and is she unable to just run out? If they are practically on top of her, then I'm not going to throw mine and Kenny's lives away. Sorry Clem!

I don't mind the guy per se, but if there's a choice between any of the characters introduced up to ep. 4 and Kenny, he's taking the fall, no matter how much less likely the other character is to survive.

Kenny is down and out, he's screwd. Clem is the 1st priority, shes small, can duck, stick and move faster than the Z's. I'd hope she'd be moving towards me as quickly as I'd be moving to her. I wish you'd said a sword rather than a bat. I can make 10 tameshigiri cuts in less than 10 seconds but thats stationary targets vs. moving ones.

I would panic and do whatever seems right at the time.

I'd most likely throw the bat to Clem and start kicking the zombies away from Kenny, kicking Kenny a little too to wake him up (hopefully). Me and Kenny would push the zombies down and run over to Clem, Kenny would take Clem and get her into a corner of the room that's empty of walkers and stay with her, taking down any walker who comes near, while I take down the walkers who surrounded Clem in the first place with the bat.

There's a lot that could go wrong. Some of the walkers walk with heir hands high up in the air. It would be crushing to see a walker inadvertently slap the bat out of the way and then Clementine, Kenny and lee all die horribly.

I wasn't ever as attached to Clem as most players. I would save Ken.
