Imagine Walking Dead ending just like how "The Mist" did.
I'm only on episode 4, chapter 2.
But imagine if the game ended like this

Ignore the music at the end ;_; it is the only video I can find.
You would even have to shoot clementine :O

I love how Andrea and Dale from the Walking Dead TV show are in it.
However with that said yes, that type of ending would suck bad!! That ending in the movie was by far one the most gut-wrenching endings I can recall.
It is not the same ending in the book. But stephen king loved the movie ending and said it was better than the book ending. :P
Did he say that? Hmmm....I could see this as possible since he is so dark and twisted in his work.
I thought the ending of the movie was a gut check but also liked the book ending where it left you hanging, I was kinda hoping he would write a second "short-story" to the first one to pick up where they left off or maybe a few weeks/months later.
Speaking of the movie for those who have seen it, I believe that both the actor/actress for Dale and Andrea played in "The Mist" if I remember correctly.
Yeah, the director ran that ending by him before comiting and Stephen liked it.
I'm sure it sounded better on paper, but seriously, the guys couldn't hear a motorcade 2 minutes behind them? How the fuck did they even manage to pass right by it without noticing anything? The director is still to blame, although it would have been thematically revolting even if he had a decent sense of time and space.
On topic, no. Kirkman already drove the comics into the ground with the constant doom and gloom. I'm fine with an open-ended or vague ending, but one season of seeing a group of people shat on is enough for me, I won't be doing season 2 if it looks like TWD will be going the comics route. There needs to be some silver lining in order for the 10 hours of gameplay to mean anything.
The actress for Carol in "The Walking Dead" is there too :P
The TV Show and the movie were directed by the same man, Frank Darabont
At least for one and a half seasons.
They should bring Tom Jane onto TWD. He'd kill all the zombies and then everyone could go home.
yeah he totally kicks ass as the punisher

Sorry about that.
