Do you think TWD Game will have multiple endings?

Of course Telltale said they had one ending set in stone from the very beginning, but I was hoping maybe their could be some variation to the end instead of just one point.
Like since Ben possibly dies in Episode 4, it would be a complete let down if he would be completely useless and just died. Most people want the guy to have some sort of heroic gesture. As long as the sotryline continues in around the same path they could get to that final point with different charcters and relationships depending on your choices.

Pretend the generic ending would be Lee being shot by Clementine while the survivors are around watching not only his death but the hoards of walkers. Depending on your conversations, Kenny could be crying at your death or be stone cold- even dead. Clementine would be strong enough to shoot you or have Christa etc. Omid could be dead due whether or not you went back for him. All non-mportant rolls can be filled with variability.

So something like the Carley and Doug option but it wouldn't carry on into Season 2. Telltale could do anything with that sort of thing.

What do you think guys?

I would also like to see some variation to the endings, and make our choices "really" matter. Could have a fun time playing though the game multiple times to see different endings.

On another note, are you the mod for the confessions tumblr? That site is awesome.

Yeah, I think it would at least make all the 'Too Black And White' players quiet even for a short while. Plus it adds about a months worth of extra gaming time for the players- I'd definitely be sorted for a while.

And yeah, I'm Iz! Ah thank-you, honestly that means a lot.

Honestly,I sure hope there will be. :) If there if in fact one ending only, shouldn't that mean that certain characters will die in the episode no matter if they were with you or not?

Pretty much :( If they wanted only Clem and Lee then they'd kill everyone else off no matter how they die. Which I think is a bit too lazy.... especially for Telltale and their usually complex storylines.
I like to think that the one ending was just a baseline for expansion. Like the main tree with branches. If that makes any sense!

    It would be fun

I think there will be variations but as for vastly different endings like TW2 I don't think so

if they did make different endings, this game would probably one of the best game ever played for since a long time.

It would be fun to have drastically different endings. However, most of the choices so far have only slightly altered the game. Who knows? Maybe all of the choices build up for a grand finale where everything comes full circle.

i think i heard in one of the livestreams with the devs that there will only be one ending with slight variations (likelycharacters who make it to the end).

First off, I love your tumblr so much!

As for your question, in the livestream for episode 4, Gary Whitta said that the story is about Lee and his story will end in the same way, HOWEVER how you get there will be very different. This leads me to believe that it's not impossible that the game will end in different ways - but will have the same outcome/same characters dead.

I thought it'd have multiple endings until that quote from the interview. Now I think it's just one ending.

1 ending will make doing a second season a lot easier.

But the idea of multiple endings including savegame transfer would be mindblowing.

Well, after reading the reactions on Twitter, honestly I think its gonna have one,but one hell of an epic ending. :)

I am guessing since most of the characters can be killed or outright left behind, that they won't be involved in the ultimate linear ending of this game.

Agreed. But I'd like the idea of some of the 'optionally killed characters' being able to stand in the back during the end... if they live that is.
I'm thinking only Clementine and Lee will be featured mainly in the ultimate end... the rest could be optional. Maybe Molly or Christa to take Clementine away after he dies.
    But you never know...
