Transferring the free version's save didn't work :p

edited November 2007 in Sam & Max
Well, before I finished Sam and Max ep 4 because I downloaded it for free, I picked up the Season 1 DVD from Best Buy. This DVD doesn't have the nag screen, so I tried moving the saves over from the free one to Season 1. Crashes the game :p

Oh well. I guess I'll have to either deal with the nag screen for now or to start from scratch.

Not enjoying the soothing color scroll of the launcher ad? ;)

No scrolling at all. It's just a static screen that launches the game randomly, and last time it was around 2 minutes until the game started. It kinda bites seeing "buy this game!!!" when you already bought the thing.

Saves from the download version don't work in the retail version. Sorry.

Um, no. They use two different versions of the game engine. They're not compatible.

As do the old and new versions of Comedy Shock and The Mole, The Mob, and the Meatball, correct?
