What if...
The remaining survivors are getting on the boat. Lee stands on the shore distracting the horde of walkers. He trips and falls, but gets back up. With a pain on his wrist, he looks down. His watch made a cut. And it was the shape of a bite, on exactly the same place the "bite" was.

it would be funny how Lee looks at his second 'bite' and starts swearing and asking guys on boat to return. However if you chose kenny to stay, he will say that he will prepare the boat and take lee on it even despite his bite even if you were an ass to him.
And in the distance, 3 Eskimo people see this event. They run for many miles. They do not worry about the Walker's because of their speed.
After many hours of running, the two tired Eskimos, drenched in sweat, make it to a house deep within the mountains. They knock on the front door three times. An old man, who we'll call Albert, answers the door.
The first Eskimo looks Albert in the eyes and says "It's time".
Albert reaches for his cane and starts moving towards a door in the back. He stops and turns back at the Eskimo's "You have served your people well. Please have a rest in the chair. I'll be back with beverages shortly."
Albert opens the door in the distance and begins heading down a tall spiral of stairs. At the bottom, covered in cobwebs, is an old phone. He picks up the phone, but does not press any buttons. There is silence "They visited just now" Albert muttered into the phone. "I understand, leave the rest to us" a squeaky voice is heard on the other end of the line.
Albert hangs up his phone and listens.
Many miles away, the voice on the other end of the phone sets of an alarm. It can be heard all across the country.
The "bullshit cop-out" alarm.
I'm just saying. Like Ben said, "Every time walkers show up the plan changes!" So somebody might have had to sacrifice themselves for the group's safety. Lee's the only one that seems to be dying.
