The Walking Dead at the VGA's.

Spike is now letting people vote for this year's Video Game Awards. The Walking Dead has been nominated for Game of the Year, Best Adapted Video Game, Best Downloadable Game, Best Performance by a Human Male, and Best Performance by a Human Female. Telltale themselves have been nominated for Studio of the Year as well.

Personally, I think the VGAs are pretty stupid, but I voted for The Walking Dead in every single category.

    Voted for TWD in everything it was in.
    They spelled "Everett" wrong...

    Sad thing is that I know that, for whatever reason, the person voicing the female Commander Shepherd is ME3 is going to win, even though Melissa deserves it.

    Yeah, Jennifer Hale/Emma Stone is probably going to win that. -_-. but here's hoping that Clem will win.
    and I also voted for The Walking Dead in every category. Was a bit disappointed that they didn't nominate RE6 for anything and only nominated Xcom for 1 things, but at least The Walking Dead got some nominations.

    So happy to see TWD get 5 nominations, and telltale getting one too. I will vote for em all, but i'm not sure they have a chance except in best adapted game and best downloadable game. We will see.

    It is nice to see that games like TWD and Journey are getting recognition in things like this, though. And there's no bigger proof that I love Walking Dead than the fact that I was just forced to vote against James McCaffrey.

    I voted Telltale as best company because Valve wasn't on the ballot this year. IMHO

    This. I love TTG, but damn son, Valve.

    Edit: And they had Femshep on the best female vocals, but not Manshep. Heh. Though sorry Lee, Max Payne still has the best sounding male voice of like all time.

    the only one with TWD in it that i had to think about who i voted for was best male voice, seriously max payne 3 was an epic story with great voice acting, but i voted for Lee anyway

    Don't worry. If it's anything like last year, then most of the awards will be handed out before the show, so you won't have to watch anything.

    I am amazed at the lineup.... so many possible votes for Journey and The Walking Dead.

    It should not be possible that this one dos not go to The Walking Dead, right? Lot´s of bad press and fan reactions around Dishonored and ME3. Don´t know about AC3. Journey is great but only reaches on part of the gameing crowed while TWD is on every current gen system (including your Phone) and is generally well received.

    Sorry but The Walking Dead is sunk here on all accounts, well, it might beat Journey.

    It has good odds for best adapted and best downloadable, but it's going to get curb stomped in the other categories due to the sheer numbers of the other games fanbases.

    By the way, Assassin's Creed 3 is amazing.

    The VGA's aren't particularly reputable. I'm pretty sure every award goes to the studio that was able to pay Spike off more.

    So I'm guessing Game of the Year will go to either ME3 or AC3.

    Yeah, I don't have much hope of a Spike GOTY award going to a non-AAA title. It's nice that Spike tried to make the show a bit more reputable by adding in games like Journey and TWD to the GOTY nominees. I hate to say it, I do love the Walking Dead, but I think the title may have been included so Spike could cash in on the hype The Walking Dead tv show has going on right now. Not that TWD doesn't deserve to be on the list and win, its just that I have zero faith in Spike actually giving out an award to a game that deserves it and not to a game that will bring in the most viewers.
