Truth is, I wouldn't really want to live if the people I loved were gone. I wouldn't take myself out or have somebody take me out. I'd do my best to survive. But I wouldn't want to.
And if family was left, I'd try to keep us together and alive, but the reality is that I'm not willing to do all of that insane stuff like shooting other people because they MIGHT be threatening or shooting a bitten soul (I would send them off, sure... but never kill them).
So... no. I would never kill a child, mine or anybody else's, in a ZA situation. Even at the cost of my own life or safety or those whom I love.
The zombie apocalypse part of this question is moot. Replace zombie apocalypse with 'world war 2', 'revolution', terrorist situation' 'hijack'.
Would you kill your baby if the nazis were searching houses looking for you hiding in a loft? Well, probably hundreds of thousands of people died because they did not.
Maybe kill your 10 year old because she has a cold & can't stop sneezing huh? or your 5 year old who can't stop crying because she is so scared.
Anyone who answered yes to this is a sociopath & a coward.
The rest of us want to be able to live with ourselves.
I think some of you miss the point of walking dead completely. If you answered yes you would.. You are the walking dead and you lose. You lost your humanity and you are the bad guys. You would put yourself above others especially your own child? Scary. I would do anything for my kids and there would be no point in living without them.
No I wouldn't. The baby his/herself doesn't understand what is going on and can also sense when people are scared etc. I wouldn't kill someone who doesn't understand the situation and I'd make sure to protect my child/family however long I live or survive.

Let's face it. 99% of you who voted yes wouldn't have the balls to do it when the real situation occurs. Just because you made a couple of tough decisions in a zombie video game doesn't immediately make you completely cold and calculative when it comes to the real ZA. Get real, people.

If I have to kill a crying baby, then what is the point?
