Episode 5 Theory-Molly

edited November 2012 in The Walking Dead
It's been confirmed Molly will appear in this episode. I forgot where but I saw a theory that Molly will steal the boat and that she lied about her past. I looked into this and on this video,

If you skip to 1:17:31, you'll see a shattered picture frame. Remember when Molly was looking around the house when you got back there with Vernon? I think she took the picture of her "sister" from the house. I don't know why she would pretend having a sister and she did mention her sister in the videotape. It's not like she could've known Lee would've seen the videotape and confronted her about it so the theory still has a lot of holes in it but I think there's definitely something more going on here. What do you think?

I think this isn't an original idea.

I also doubt it'll turn out to be true.

According to the Playing Dead Ep. 8, Molly's character was used specifically to help drive the story by bringing an element of positivity after the nadir that was episode 3. Gary Whitta specifically said that they knew they had to use characters like Molly "sparingly," which explains why she comes and goes with the wind.

Personally, I somewhat doubt that she'll return in Ep. 5, but I suppose that it's possible. As far as what I want to see, it could go either way and I'd be happy with it.
