No voices Ep1.

I've a sound issue with S+M voices on Culture Shock, Vista64.

On installing the game, got sound and voices, when upping the resolution from 800x600 to full spec, voices disappeared.

Followed a few ideas from the forum:
sound drivers (latest)

reinstalling

on removing the prefs file (after reinstall), the voices came back.
then I changed, in windowed mode to full spec where the voices
continued and then changing to full screen, the voices disappeared
again and don't work at all, whether windowed or full screen.


Any suggestions welcome.

    That's really strange that resolution affects the sound. I've never heard of this before, but I'm willing to bet it is a DirectX problem. Try updating it to see if that fixes the problem.

    It certainly was. Updating DirectX sorted it:)
