    Brie was one of the (five?) pre-order contest winners (I think). The OP figured out Vernon and Brie were a couple, and... Just figure out the rest :p

    I never tought Brie was Vernon's wife/girlfriend/whatever... But that's probably just me.

    I'm pretty sure Vernon and Brie weren't in any sort of relationship besides survivors and friends. He didn't really give a shit that she died either way, and he basically admits that to Lee.

    i dont fully understand the question but even if vernon was gay i dont see that changing anything, he would still be a doctor just maybe a little more despised by the fans who dont accept gays. I personally dont see any problem if it was that way.

    While Brie and Vernon were not in a relationship, there was another very slightly different plan if the winner was a man.
