Is Kenny's Loyalty a glitch?

edited November 2012 in The Walking Dead
I've searched this a lot through Google and I find conflicting answers. I've seen people who supposedly did LESS for him than me and still ended up with better loyalty at the end of Episode 4 (he goes with me begrudgingly if I guilt him with the "Clem is family" line)

My Choices:
Episode 1
Tried to Save Shawn (one of the only "anti Kenny" choice I make)
Threatened to kick Larry's Ass over Duck
Gave energy bar to his son
Episode 2
I sided with him after getting out of the forest
Gave food to Duck, Kenny, Clem, and Mark
Helped him kill Larry
Killed the 2nd St. John's Bro
I agreed with stealing from the car
Episode 3
I DID shoot the girl (anti-Kenny decision)
Left Lilly on the street
Talked Kenny down at the Train
Shot Duck for him
Episode 4
Didn't stop for Omid, kept going with Kenny
Told Kenny Molly "wasn't our guy"
Brought Clem to Crawford
Killed Ben
Showed the bite

Got the speech about me being selfish and not always being there. Am I missing something or is this a glitch??? I killed Larry and Ben for him

I think the shawn choice as very important
and the one with the girl
    killing ben wasn't nessesary
I think if you just sided with him for the major choices (the ones shown at the end of a episode) and sometimes sided with him in normal fights with lily and larry you would be fine

but they made it hard as hell to make him come with you without saying anything
(if you say clem is my family now he would come)

It is very important to side with him on the smaller choices as well. Kenny is a very sensitive guy.

That being said, if you have protected Duck/Katjaa, you can still convince him to go with you.

I forgot how much he likes his family
hes right you also gotta like his family (in game)

Thanks for the responses. I just didn't want to have to guilt trip him into coming with me.

I mean sided with him in EVERYTHING except I tried to save Shawn and I DID shoot the girl in the street. Everything else was super pro Kenny. Agreed with every plan and thought he had. I guess TT meant for him to be a little schizo. Can't wait for the game tomorrow btw :)

you missed a LOT of options in episode 4.

you had to kill the zombie in the attic.
when you go look for a boat you MUST stay silent throughtout the episode (either choose ... or don't respond at all.)
you had to tell kenny that you do agree he should've kicked ben's ass and to make a vote to kick ben off and chose to kick him out.

you should also try choosing clementine's my family choice and that should deal with it.

also, you missed some stuff from episode 3 for duck and kat. you had to give the water bottle and the box of animal crackers to them as well.

if you killed andrew st. john in front of everyone in episode two that was another negative.

I had Kenny kill the zombie in the attic (I thought that was the pro Kenny choice)
I told him he was right to kick Ben's ass.
I gave his family the water bottle and the animal crackers.
I actually didn't kill the second brother. I killed the first.

Like I said, I can get him to come with me by stating the "Clementine is family" option, but I can't get the whole loyalty speech by Kenny when he talks about how great of a friend I am.

I'm pretty sure people have been less pro Kenny and gotten his support. Hell, you can't be a whole lot more pro Kenny than I have.

Killing the zombie boy will NOT let him join. On my first playthrough I did not kill him and that speech popped up. After I did, the speech popped up. Also, you MUST save Duck for the all positive Kenny choice.

george, you are wrong; daecarus, you are correct. I didn't kill the zombie boy, I said Duck should be thrown out, I sided with Ben in Crawford and saved Ben, brought Lilly along, stopped for omid, and didn't steal from the car. I gave his son a bar, not him or Katjaa. I still got the best "What kind of a friend would I be?" speech. It's either a glitch in your game or you looked at your choices wrong. I believe you and suspect a glitch happened. Hell, I beat episode 4 a month ago but when I started episode 5 it asked if i wanted to generate random choices for the episodes I didn't play though. I had to cancel and rewind to the last bit of ep4 to show the game I actually did beat it.
