Right on, just wanted to make sure I juuuust wasn't quick enough. i thought it was a plot device to completely sentence Lee, if you did cut his arm off.
It was so short, but I understand why it was that short. Longer would have removed the sense of urgency and making the point of how little time Lee had.
I wished Lee would have told Clem that he loved her, though I told her that I'll miss her and when I did, I wept like a baby (I was already crying, though). Clementine wasn't my absolute favorite character but in those moments I just wanted to hug her so bad and hold her close and do my best to take care of her, more than any moment in the entire series so far.
I also cried when Kenny kind of sacrificed himself for Christa. His words when he finished helping her up and stayed down...I fucking loved Kenny. He could've been a jerk every now and then, but we always patched things up and apologized and I knew he was hurt and GOD. I was in total denial and hoped that he had escaped, but... ):
The person on the radio was...a bit unexpected and maybe a bit underwhelming? (in my opinion) I expected someone else. Though I also think it was interesting how it was the person you'd least expect would come after you. I'm not sure, I'm mixed. It put me a bit off that he tells you that he wasn't looking for vengeance and then tries to kill you, I would've liked it to have been either one solid. The bag part was so creepy.
I'll miss Lee so much. While he was saying his goodbyes, I was crying mainly for the fact that I was going to miss the character who has become my favorite protagonist out of any game. I'm going to miss Lee Everett.
Oh, and I chose to chop off Lee's arm. The whole thing with Kenny was settled calmly. I didn't kill the stranger because...it just didn't feel right despite the fact that he wanted to kill me. I couldn't bring myself to do it, so Clem did it. I lied at first but then gave in my weapons. I had Clem shoot me because it gave much more closure.
Words can't express how much I enjoyed and loved this series overall. It's left so unclear who those figures in the epilogue are, but I really hope it's Christa and Omid and that they're okay. Christa is pregnant and I really grew to love them both in this episode and I know they'll take good care of Clementine. Hope we get some stuff on Season 2 at the beginning of next year, maybe around Spring? Can't wait.
Was where you told Christa and Omid to meet you and where Clem to go change how the ending was where she saw 2 people in the distance?
For me I told Christa and Omid to find me and Clem, I then told Clem to stay away from cities. And I told Christa and Omid that we should go towards the country side. Well for me Clem was out in what looked like the country and saw 2 people on a hill.

Did Billythimble get his arm cut off? I shot him, but I had both arms.
It was so short, but I understand why it was that short. Longer would have removed the sense of urgency and making the point of how little time Lee had.
This is a good point. Even though the episode was so short, there were still moments, like on the hospital roof and in the attic, when I was yelling at the TV, "What are you all doing standing around?! Clem is out there!"
if Ken saves Christa, is his fate not so.. ambiguous? I know he IS dead but... I was in denial because I'm one of those "if I don't see the body then I won't believe they are dead" type of people.
Also, that twist with campman.. made my jaw literally drop.
What happens if you didn't take the supplies from the car?
He mentions that Kenny, Kat and everyone else took the stuff.
Man, despite being short, I kinda liked the fact that it felt a bit different than the previous 4. Pretty sad ending. I also enjoyed the music when Lee was fighting through the walkers and the ending music. Also, I'm wondering if anything changes if you tell Christa and Omid that Kenny's gonna take care of Clem.
I had Lee get his arm cut off. I also managed to get shot in the fight with Campman, and while i was fighting him, Clem shot him in the head.
I'm assuming Campman will shoot you if you chopped off your arm. If you didn't, you can't get shot by him. However, you can chose to let him die or become a walker if you have both arms.

I chopped off my arm and he didn't shoot me. I didn't kill him myself but Clem hit him with a bottle, then I got into a fist fight with him, and Clem shot him in the end.
Do you guys think we will be able to use our saves for Season 2?
I would love to see Clem doing everything I asked her to. Stay away from cities, find Omid and Christa.
Did anybody notice at the credits that the guy who voices the guy on the radio is different from the one that voices the Campman? I didn't get that. Two different voices, same guy? Doesn't make sense, unless.....

they were the same person, and they did have different voice actors. It made sense actually.

I really hope we don't have to be Clem next season
Give credit where it's due? I don't think it's anything beyond the fact that they couldn't reuse the Ep3 voice actor, or they were more satisfied with Ep5's actor. Or any other technical reasons. I don't really think it has to do with story...
Wow. Best episode by far, in my opinion. You had more motivation for the whole episode than for any other and the ending, with Lee turning, was amazing. I was absolutely shocked at who campman was. I saw the car, and thought, "oh, just like the girl outside the drugstore in Ep1, they're reusing objects again. I guess a car is more excusable because many people own the same brand of car. I wonder if anyone will call them out on this."
This was, imo, such an emotional episode and I sat in shock for about forty five minutes after playing. I am so interested to see what happens if I brought Ben (I saved him but left him to look after the boat) and if I somehow resued both Christa and Kenny on the roof (Is it possible?)
I never even encountered Vernon this episode... I don't understand, how does that play out? I went first across the billboard, what happens if Christa and Omid go first?

I chose to cut his arm off and the notification said "This is going to hurt" I thought it was game over for lee! edit: @ Above poster they go safely and christa breaks the sign by accident, pulls herself up and lee goes down, same as before just with the sides flipped. Also, who were the two silhouettes on the horizon during the credits scene? I was too bummed out to look closely. (BTW, freakin loved that music, it matched the ending perfectly)

I didn't get shot in my playthough.
Oh, and I suppose YOU know what you're talking about?

you REALLY want me to tell you?

Oh, what happens with the boat if you go alone.
Yeah, but we don't know if anyone who had one arm shot him. I had both arms and shot him.

My Lee had 1 arm and I shot him in the head.

I chopped off my arm and he didn't shoot me. I didn't kill him myself but Clem hit him with a bottle, then I got into a fist fight with him, and Clem shot him in the end.
Lots of different outcomes, I see!

How did that make sense?
Hmmm, but the original voice was so much better IMO.
Still, why reveal that on the credits? What does Telltale want us to see?
I mean, she doesn't run towards Omid and Christa (I assume) even though I told her to, and she found that bullet.
God I'm depressed

LoL that's what happens?
Yeah, I got a chuckle out of that. You even get to choose what he screams out in pain, during the cutting.
I made him swear. I've heard that lessens pain. I don't think it worked.
It was neat that there was still a little bit of humor with that and Omid still.
And "It wasn't my favorite hand anyway."
Oh yea, I made sure to say that too, how did I forget about that one.
I still remember at the end of Episode 3 while everyone was waiting for Episode 4 everyone said "He's gonna die."
Well look at him now
Telltale has said to KEEP your saves for season 2.
